Chapter 71: Road to Abdication

Cassian's POVI swear by my first orgasm, Lord Logan fucked me up real bad. I thought I was going to die, my body and wolf suffered grievously in his hands.Three days without food and water, pumped full with fucking Asenath, bashed and manhandled by maniacs, I tasted my own death. Alpha Kazamir, the fucking snake, was undoubtedly behind the whole saga. Lord Logan was only a piece in the game.A disposable piss in the fucking game- pun intended. My left arm barely hung on my shoulder, almost ripped off by the fucker's strong jaws. Let's not even come down to my right leg. I can't feel it anymore. I owe my life to Rhoda. Seeing her hopeless stirred my wolf to life. I tapped richly into it and used it to my fucking advantage. Thank the fucking gods I'm not dead.On my knees, I freed my hands from the manacles and scooped Rhoda into my arms, stroking her hair. Her citrusy scent flew into my nose, together with the tangy scent of fear coming from her; an assurance of life in my grasp.

Chapter 72: Master Latifah

Olive's POVNews of Alpha Cassian abdicating his throne to father spread like wild fire across the realm. To say I never saw this coming was playing dumb to an already obvious fact. The moment he shook hands with father was the moment he lost everything.Father chooses his pawns carefully. Whoever was around him would be burned in the slithering flame of his greed.I've known father all my life. He's the kind of Alpha you should be afraid of. He knew what he wanted and how to get them. The best thing to do was to stay out of his way."You hit like a fucking pussy. Is this all the Daughter of Shannon can do to a wooden dummy? War is coming, Olive, and you've got to be fucking ready." Princess Adelaide's voice broke into my thought, returning me to the present. When we returned from Ulfric with mother and my half sister, I'd to swallow my pride, asking her to train me. I wanted to be strong like her. I do not want to live the rest of my days relying on my powers. What if the Moon Goddes

Chapter 73: Incensed

Olive's POVEvery evening had me sweating hard, hitting a dummy or doing some rigorous exercises. Quoting mother verbatim, she made me to understand that 'To whom much is bestowed, much is sacrificed.' True to her word, she showed no mercy.I thought Princess Adelaide was being hard on me, but mother topped the leaderboard as the most merciless trainer in the realm. At first, we began with push-ups, doing all available variations. My worst nightmare came to pass when she made me do knuckle push-ups. I was this close to losing it. The eyes watching us restrained me from shedding tears.Fuck!Whoever invented this damn exercise did it to shame the hell out of me.Other than the stress it caused on my chest and shoulder blades, it darkened my fingers and made my once pretty fingers ugly slender twigs. Although Orvyn never minded, in fact, he kisses them every night before we make out in bed, yet, the sight of my hands upset me. 'It strengthens your core and gives you more power to strik

Chapter 74: After the Fall

Cassian's POV"Fuck!" I exclaimed huskily, eyes shut, head thrown back in ecstacy.Rhoda bobbed her head back and forth on my cock, swirling her tongue along the crown of my cock. She held the base of my cock with both hands, massaging my balls with her slender hands. Saliva slathered her fingers, adding an extra flavor of pleasure to the intimacy.Damnit! She's good with this thing.I weaved my hands into her scalp and pushed myself into her throat. She opened her jaws wider and braced her hands on my waist, her fingers digging into my butt.Sweat glistened on her body and I took a moment to admire how pretty she looked. "I can't stop wanting you," I groaned. "How can you be so fucking perfect? Are you even human?!"She looked up at me, smiling mischievously. When I thought I'd seen her at her best, she stood to her feet and pushed me to the bed with one finger.I fell back on the bed, meeting the lean smirk on her small lips. She climbed the bed and straddled her legs over my cock,

Chapter 75: Rhoda's Idea

Cassian's POVTilting my head, I essayed a chuckle. "You're joking, right?"I forced myself to believe she was not suggesting what I feared it sounded like. A year with Alpha Kazamir had told me he was not the type to be double-crossed. I know what the fucker was capable of, and I know the penalty for betraying him- death; a gruesome, bloody, slow passing away of the spirit from the body. She sat up and grabbed my hand in hers. "Hear me out first, and I'll let you take the final decision. Whatever you decide, I'll respect it, but I want you to think about it carefully before giving me an answer."She's fucking serious. "Okay. What have you been thinking about?" I asked calmly, in spite of my thudding heart. She licked her lips and exhaled sharply. Those pouty lips of hers had a permanent say on me. I don't mind her going on her knees between my legs the hundredth time, moaning on my cock. "Think about it, ever since the beginning of your parley with Alpha Kazamir, he'd never been co

Chapter 76: Beneath Orvyn's Nostrils

Cassian's POVSoon, I was in the courtyard, standing at a large round table. Alpha Kazamir and his fucking Beta were waiting for me, together with three other men.I folded my arms across my chest, looking from one brazen face to the other. My pulse did a thump, as I settled my gaze on Alpha Kazamir. His black orbs seemed to pry into my eyes. Drustian told him; a certainty I was damn sure of.What now? My head to the gallows?"Why did you send for me?" I asked conversationally, cloaking my fear. It'd be game over, standing few inches from him, fidgeting. If today is judgement day, let it come...quick."Isn't it enough?" He said, wearing a cold smirk.Yup, he knew. Drustian told him."Look, I don't care what you want to do to me. Just make it quick. I'm tired of being humiliated like a fucking Omega," I resigned fearlessly.Where the boldness was coming from mattered less to me. I held on to it, teeth clenched.A friend crossed his face as he exchanged puzzled glances with the men at

Chapter 77: A Harrowing Secret

Orvyn's POV "How is she?" I asked Emilia. She went round the bed in Olive's former room with a bowl of greenish concoctions in her hand. The same mixture she'd been feeding Queen Latifah for the past three days. Her face had totally healed from the pummeling Olive pelted on it, but she still lay unconscious.Olive and Princess Adelaide sat on either side of the bed, holding their mother's hand, physically distressed. Conrad and I stood side by side at the foot of the bed, comforting our mates when necessary in few words and subtle touches. She dropped the half-filled bowl on the nightstand beside the bed, heaving deeply, dark circles under her eyes. "She's a fighter. She'll come out of it when she wants to."Olive, who had understandably turned pale over the period turned to Emilia, "Are you trying to tell me you don't know when she'll open her eyes?" She climbed out of the bed and gripped Emilia's shoulder's, frightening the older woman. "Tell me, when will my mother be fully healed

Chapter 78: Crispy Fries I

Olive's POVI was warped into oblivion before the guard ended his message. The room inexplicably became suffocating for me to breath in. My worn nerves came alive with an impossible strength; an unearthly surreal strength I was fast getting used to. See who came knocking right at the door.Fucking Alpha Dickhead Cassian.I saw white and my nostrils burned with rage, setting my entire system on fire as I recalled the hateful things he did to me. The contemptuous leer on his face when he ripped my clothes off me; the deplorable manner at which he parted my legs, cackling to his heart's content, while he pinned me to the bed with his hands on my wrists above my head. They all came rushing into my head in a barrage, fueling me with brute scorching rage.He violated me for hours, despite my agonizing pleas, squeezing the best out of my breasts . I begged him to reconsider until I felt something for him, but he only grew monstrous, turning def ears to all my cries.I thought of calling fa

Chapter 79: Crispy Fries II

Olive's POV I landed before the wall with a thud, causing the mud to absorb my boots. Albeit, my eyes remained on my target, unmoving. He and the girl were on their knees between four arm Vagamor soldiers with their hands tied behind their backs. The fucker suffered a split lower lip. Blood trickled out of his left temple, running down his hairy chin.Last time I saw him, he was clean shaven. Not that I cared about his appearance, though.I had a right to examine my kill.Bad blood is bad blood. My gaze shifted briefly to the terrified girl beside him. She'd sustained minimal injuries compared to the dickhead. Her jaws dropped to the ground as her eyes widened in awe and fear, seeing me in full power.Alpha Cassian and the men had the same expression on their faces, although they tried to act tough.I jumped out of the mud stylishly, landing on a more solid ground few meters before them, eyes darkened with rage. I closed my eyes and allowed my powers take total control. I knotted

Chapter 80: Doubts

Cassian's POV"How long do I have to shout it to your fucking ears before you listen to me? Take me to your fucking Alpha, dummy!"I shouted, fuming behind the iron door. I knew the guard outside the door could fucking ear me. The nitwit chose to rather ignore me. There's no fucking time to waste loafing around. By now, preparations against the war should have begun. "Pipe down, man." For the first time since forever, the guard's reply came through the iron door. "My Alpha will come when he has your time. He's busy.""He's busy?!" I scoffed. Alpha Orvyn and Princess Olive are in the dark. They don't know what's coming, and they're not fucking ready to listen to me. "The only thing he should be busy about now is how to defend his House from the coming war!"Damnit! We're all going to die. Groaning, I channeled my frustrations to my fists and hauled it against the stone wall beside the door. The crunching sound of my knuckles against the hard surface reached my ears. A broke a bone or
