Lahat ng Kabanata ng Claiming Daddy : Kabanata 81 - Kabanata 90

Stella's POV"I can't believe you're making me stay here with you just because you paid my medicals," I whined and dragged my duvet further up to my neck. "It's a win win anyways, I get to see you everyday and you just enjoy my company and more free vacation days, at least until the culprits are found," he said. "I want to return to work. That's what I came here for," I whined. I had returned so quickly with hopes that I could distract myself from everything with work, but I only ended up having a part of that past catch up with me. "Plus that's not all I paid for," he leaned in even closer and I found myself shifting even closer towards the head board until my back was firmly pressed on it. "Why are you moving away, I'm not going to bite, after all, we had something going on before you decided to disappear on me," he said and I frowned. "I thought we agreed to not go there," I didn't want to address what we had, neither did I want to talk about why I left or what mess he had with

Stella's POV"Look, I came here to remove the birth control implant, so be careful," I said as I moved to the other side of the car and rolled down the heat. It was a preventive measure so I wouldn't be too caught up in the heat that would build up later. "Ohhh, I see. Is that why you were so embarassed? I thought we were closer than that," he whined as he stared back at me, poker face on, I could not fathom what was up in his mind at that moment, he seemed rather strange for a while, slowly a frown curved up on his face and he smacked his lips together in a stern manner."What are you thinking of? Whatever it is, just get it off your mind," I said as I watched him seductively lick his lips. His eyes remained on me as he continued to draw closer to me until I could only see the bridge of his nose and I had to instinctively arch my back while his hand found my waist and pulled me close. 'Damn it!' I couldn't cuss aloud as despite my words of not wanting him to get any close, I wante

Stella's POVAs much as I didn't want to return to America until I was sure i could face that family, the only woman who ever treated me well and accepted me after I'd messed up was getting buried. So I had no choice, I had to go. I still hadn't contacted Stella her fiance or her father and I've told Kitty to tell them that we haven't met yet whenever they tried to reach her as well. But I couldn't run away forever. "Your phone is ringing, I think you should pick it. it had been ringing nonstop for some minutes now," Kitty said as she collected the cup of coffee in my hand and handed me my phone instead. My eyes stung as the screen of my phone flashed on so I squeezed it to adjust to the lightening and a smile formed on my face as soon as I recognized the caller. "Is it someone you know?" Kitty asked."Hmm," I nodded and hid my smile as I recognized the number Lawrence used to communicate while we were in the states. "Excuse me," I told Kitty who nodded. She seemed to be glad th

Lawrence's POV"why is she acting so weird? Did she really lose her memory? all or half? when will she recover? I'm willing to do absolutely anything to make sure she gets better," I told the doctor who was sitting across me. "I'm sorry, but I can't say for now we'll have to watch her to be able to determine which type of amnesia she has. But for now, she shouldn't be triggered, at least until we complete the treatment with her spine," he said and I sighed. this was simply disastrous. our date had turned into a death sentence and if not for her land on the trash bags loaded by the side of the building, she would have fallen to her death and there would have been more than just a slight fracture.I closed my eyes and face palmed. "who did this? I'd catch them and kill them with my own hands," I hated that things like this had to happen. "if it's as you suspected, I'm sure the police would find the person behind this mischief and bring justice upon them," the doctor tried to comf

Stella's POVThe plain ride back to where they called my home country was smooth and comfortable, considering all the private treatment I was given. However, there was the headache of having to move on a wheelchair and with do much pain in my legs. "I think you should rest some more since we just landed," Lawrence said. "I think so too, but I can't take myself up the stairs," I whined as I watched the spiral staircase go up. "No issues with that, there are three different rooms downstairs and you can use either one of them. my room will be beside yours, so if you need anything," he pushed me towards the so called rooms and opened the door from behind me, causing my breath to seize for a moment before he straightened up. "And if you want, we can discuss sharing the room with you. I honestly won't mind," he said and while I considered it, I had to refuse. "Right, but I'll pass thank you. I just want to sleep away this jetlag for now." "If that's what you want, I'll leave you to r
