Lahat ng Kabanata ng In-Between The Lycan Triplets : Kabanata 61 - Kabanata 70

Connor's POV.I looked at him and saw that he was just an ordinary guy on the road. Some stranger I had never seen before. His expression looked like he was deep in thought, and he seemed fragile.“But what was that I felt just now?”. I asked myself.I had felt an overwhelming aura, it was calm, but also threatening. It felt like cold water was running on my back. I wondered why I was so worried about him, and why I was so threatened. I felt embarrassed that I became so defensive about a nobody. So much so that I could not contain my anger and humiliation. I had to confront him.I thought he would just be another pushover like these three other guys I torment. But to my surprise, he seemed unfazed by my incessant persistence to get him ticked off. He kept going on about how he was having a bad day and just wanted to go home.It pissed me off, to see his audacity. It was like he was deliberately trying to insult me but in a subtle way. I do not like being belittled, especially not in

Ajax's POV. I spent the rest of the morning wondering why I had dreamt the way I did the previous night. It was not unusual to see Zelda in my dreams sometimes, as I still had a strong feeling towards her. What was unusual was seeing Stacy, and then the events that unfolded before my unconscious eye still baffled me. “Is that a sign of things to come?” I thought to myself, shuddering at the thought of it. I felt cold chills run down my spine, and so I decided I was not going to give it much thought but wave it off as a meaningless dream.Johnathan, Erwin, and Mikhail were now becoming more comfortable around me with each passing day, and I was with them. They are basically like the people in your life you never knew you needed until chance made it happen. I had begun to grow fond of them, and their presence just took my mind off wallowing in loneliness and silence.I had wanted to take them all out to at least make them feel more at home and make them feel comfortable. But I decided

Alaric’s POV I went into Aiden’s room to check on him as it was the day of the supermoon, I had to make sure he didn’t run out of his room like the other time. But to my surprise, he seemed perfectly fine. “Alaric, what are you doing in my room this early? Scared about tonight?” He teased and I let out a slight smile. “Scared? No, but I’m anxious.” I admitted to him without hesitation. “Yeah, I understand. There are so many uncertainties and that can be overwhelming.” Aiden added. Just before I could say something else, Aiden’s eyes began to glow, and he instantly fell on the floor, I frantically ran to his side.“Aiden, what is happening to you?” He held his shoulder tightly with his hands as he groaned painfully. I was confused, I wasn’t sure what was happening. After some seconds, he let go of his shoulder and the wound on his shoulder had disappeared. We both looked at each ot

Connor's POV.Being in Ajax's house and in his presence made me feel a little jealous of him. He looked like a fine specimen of a man, albeit in his current situation. I think I was envious because he was the kind of man I wanted to be. Someone with maximum influence over people with the minimum effort applied. But I am here now and those thoughts should not bother me. I have laid the challenge I came here to lay and from this moment on, there is no going back for me. But as usual, he proceeded to belittle me. First, he called me a name that was not mine, messing with my psyche. So much so that I momentarily lost my cool in a bid to correct him. And it seemed to work because from there onwards, he stuck to calling me my name. He even surprised me by apologizing. It was definitely unexpected.I was becoming impatient, and I let him know by demanding an answer to my duel request. He then proceeded to explain many things to me that, frankly I was o

Aiden’s POV Immediately Aiden left my room to get Zelda to the basement, I fell down on the floor as the pain I had felt earlier returned. I began to screech the floor with my claws as I struggled to prevent myself from howling. Alaric was right, I could feel my blood fighting the remaining silver in my veins.I was getting stronger with each minute, I should’ve chained myself down, but it was too late. As soon as the moon hit its peak, I felt powerful and after some minutes the pain was gone. I was finally in control.I looked around my room and I realized how messy it was, I let out a heavy sigh as I looked at what I had done with my claws. I went out of my room and I instantly caught Alaric and Zelda’s scent, they were in the library. The library looked a lot messier than my room. Alaric explained what happened and I instantly felt glad that I was finally feeling like my old self. I
