Connor's POV.

I looked at him and saw that he was just an ordinary guy on the road. Some stranger I had never seen before. His expression looked like he was deep in thought, and he seemed fragile.

“But what was that I felt just now?”. I asked myself.

I had felt an overwhelming aura, it was calm, but also threatening. It felt like cold water was running on my back.

I wondered why I was so worried about him, and why I was so threatened. I felt embarrassed that I became so defensive about a nobody. So much so that I could not contain my anger and humiliation. I had to confront him.

I thought he would just be another pushover like these three other guys I torment. But to my surprise, he seemed unfazed by my incessant persistence to get him ticked off. He kept going on about how he was having a bad day and just wanted to go home.

It pissed me off, to see his audacity. It was like he was deliberately trying to insult me but in a subtle way. I do not like being belittled, especially not in
