ELLEImeela attempted to utilize her covert vampy ninja skills to sneak into the room, but she stubbed her toe on the way in. She might be a Queen, and she was definitely royally clumsy alright. She plopped down on the couch beside me, stealing part of the throw that I had over me.Then I introduced them before I answered Kellis’ question. I tried to picture myself in her position, and I could admit that it would be an odd one.“I was part of a pack called Blue Crest. The Omegas in that pack were treated like slaves and were there for the sole purpose of whatever the leadership, warriors, or visitors wanted. The Alpha heir was a sadistic piece of shit. His wolf, however, was a pure soul. He fought against his human as much as possible, to the point that he was never given control. The human, Eric, made it his mission to torture us. Grant was his wolf, and I saw how much he suffered because of what Eric did. The bond snapped into place on his birthday. However, it broke within a minute

ZIYAHKellis was a gorgeous woman inside and out. She was strong and resilient despite everything that she had been through in life. The more that we got to know her, it was easy to see why she and Aldan had been paired together. He was patient, filled with kindness, but would also rip through any foe that threatened his people and loved ones. She was definitely similar, but she was still in the stage of being unsure about herself.Kellis had been hurt by people she trusted as well as people she did not know. Betrayal singed part of her heart to the point where she was afraid of opening up fully to Aldan. She was afraid of what he would see if she laid herself emotionally bare before him.The bond was a strong force that was entwined with magic. It connected two souls together and could be the most incredible thing in the world.Honestly, my bond to Dante and Byron changed my life for the better. I never would have felt a love like I did for them towards anyone else.“Honest communicat

ZIYAH His words kept repeating in an endless loop, battering against both my mind and my heart. “How many fucking suicide missions do you need to go on? How many times do I have to watch you on death’s door? You’re always the first to volunteer for any fucking reaping. What do I do if something happens this time? What do I tell our pups?” I understood where he was coming from, but that did not stop his words from ripping through me. They left me feeling like I was submerged in water and could not break the surface. I felt like I was sinking deeper with each passing second, unable to breathe. There were two sides to this problem that were hitting me at the same time. On one side, I felt like I was putting others before my family, and I felt so fucking guilty about that. On the other side, I felt really fucking selfish for even wondering if I was doing the right thing. Something that I had never really expressed to my mates before was that this guilt always crushed me when things li

ELLE There was something about Kellis that had me feeling extremely protective of her. Perhaps it was because she did not have anyone before Aldan found her. Perhaps it was because she had been hurt by others, and I could understand what that did to someone both physically and emotionally. Either way, I would do everything in my power to protect her from here on out. “You are free to share his crimes against you if you’d like. It’ll be on official record so that he’s held accountable for it all. I want you to know that you’ll never have to worry about him being free another day of his life. The choice is yours though,” Imeela told her. The moment that she looked at Aldan, I knew what she was worried about. She was afraid of what he would think. It was the same thing that I had feared at one point regarding Kade. It was the same thing that Ziyah had feared regarding Dante. Aldan simply placed a kiss on the back of her hand, silently encouraging her that he was right here beside her.

ELLE I must have dosed off because I found myself in Selene’s realm. Like always, I smiled as I basked in the peace and serenity that I always felt here. There was a gorgeous brown wolf watching me. Its fur looked just like dark chocolate and had the most mesmerizing bronze-colored eyes. I was not certain if it was male or female, but it looked to be a little smaller than Faye. I watched it approach me without fear and sat down on its haunches in front of me, waiting patiently. Its head cocked to the side. My fingers ran through its fur, making me chuckle as it began to purr. “I knew that Athena was the right choice,” Selene said as she approached us. “All wolf spirits are special to me, but Athena is very special indeed. She is one of my most trusted warrior wolves. She is named after the Goddess of Wisdom and War. A battle is not won by those who cannot strategize properly. That is where wisdom comes into play. Both the Goddess and this wolf are master strategists, and that will
