“Kydence my child, you need to wake up we have a lot to discuss.” A soft voice called her. She slowly opened her eyes; she sat up as she adjusted her eyes to light from darkness.“Where am I?” she asked. “I can see.” She gasped looking around the garden she was in.“You are in my garden my sweet girl of course you can see.” Kydence looked up to voice of a beautiful, no heavenly beautiful woman.“Who are you? Why am I here? Where’s my family? The young omegas? What about Dewey?” She started rambling on.“Slow down my child.” The woman giggled. “Everyone is safe and sound, they are with their families thanks to you and the rest of my Guards.” The woman said with a warm smile. “Your family has been by your side since you fell. Your mate has been with you as well. He has refused to leave your side. His brother and yours are making sure that he takes care of himself, which hasn’t been an easy feat for them.” She chuckled. “He doesn’t want to chance you waking when he’s not there,” she smile

“Dakota,” a sweet voice called his name, “Kota, you need to wake up.” She said. “What time is it?” He moaned as he stretched. “It’s three-thirty, we need to be downstairs at four, my brother’s and dad are already up.” He opened his eyes and was met by the beautiful eyes and smile of his mate. “If you don’t get up, they are gonna come in and drag you out.” She warned. He reached over and pulled her, so she was straddling him as they both laughed. He nuzzled her neck and inhaled deeply. “You smell amazing.” She felt him smile against her neck.“Dakota! You need to get your furry ass up!” Kruz said, opening the door without knocking. “Awe dammitt!!” He yelped. Kydence was straddling her mate, and he was kissing and nuzzling her neck. Dakota continued kissing Kydence. “Don’t you know how to knock?” Kydence giggled, stretching her neck giving Kota more access. “Dude! She’s, my sister!” Kruz groaned. Dakota released his lips from her neck with a big pop. “She may be our sister but

“Are you out of your mind!” Dakota raised his voice startling Kydence. “Sorry princess. I didn’t mean to startle you.” He said kissing her temple. “Connor, are you drunk?! I can’t run this pack.” “Of course, you can. You and Kydence will be Alpha and Luna. Since the King and Queen are going to want you to move to royal pack lands then I will have to figure out who my Beta and Gamma are going to be. Since the Shadow leadership will need to stay together. This would be the best way to make sure everyone is taken care of.” Dakota kept shaking his head no. “Stop shaking your head no, brother, I know you can do this.” Connor assured, standing in front of his brother.“Dad...” Kydence called out, “the pack doesn’t even show me respect now; you really think making me Luna will change that?” she asked. “Yes, it will make a difference because you will demand respect and you will earn it along the way.” He told her with so much assurance. “I mean there are already other females saying tha

The sun slowly started to peek through the curtains of Dakota’s room. Kyde opened her eyes to find Sofia, Keane, KC and Kolby setting up breakfast for her. “Hey, what are you doing?” She asked through a yawn and sat up. “Just bring you some breakfast and a change of clothes.” Keane smiled. “Did you sleep any?” “Yeah, he finally relaxed around two. I think we both had somewhat of a restful sleep.” She said, caressing her mate’s cheek. “I’ll be right back.” She whispered to him and then went to the bathroom to clean up.KC sat down next to her twin brother. “Kota, I know you and Diesel can hear me.” She stopped and sighed. “You need to hurry up and wake up. We have alotta work to do. You’ve been asleep already for four days, that’s long enough. Our and I mean, yours, mine, and Connor’s mating ceremonies are on the full moon, which by the way is only two weeks away, along with the Alpha and Luna ceremonies, so you need to get back here. Kydence can’t do this until you get your

One Week Later“So, what do you want to do with Hunter?” Dakota asked as Kydence hugged him from behind the chair he was sitting in. “I don’t know, did you have something in mind?” She asked as he pulled her around and sat her on his lap. “He’s my brother, I know him better than anyone, but I had a thought...” He said trialing off, she raised her brows at him. “He’s an assassin, so maybe we assign him to the Guards.” “He’s not a Shadow and no one other than Shadows are allowed to be Guards.” She told him. “Yeah, but he’s very good at what he does, I think he would be a great asset. And, I’m not saying that he be a Guard just that he be assigned to them. His talents may come in handy at some point.” He told her as he brushed his lips lightly across her neck. “You’re trying to distract me.” She said through a light giggle. “Who me? I would never.” He chuckled as they continued their discussion.“Eehhm... am I interrupting? Should I come back later?” Hunter asked sitting down
