Lahat ng Kabanata ng Alpha Diego: Kabanata 41 - Kabanata 50

Diego:I frowned when I opened my eyes to find Lea sleeping by my side. She had her head on the edge of the bed, and I couldn’t help but run my finger through her hair. However, to my surprise, the woman jumped in fright, growing alert, causing the blanket that was draped over her shoulders to fall behind her.She looked around the room for a second too long only to look at me and to process the fact that I was awake.“Alpha?” She asked, and I nodded. Her eyes studied my expression, and I took a deep breath.“Water?” I asked, and she shook her head, snapping out of her daze. It was only now that I realized how dried my lips were, and the need for water became urgent for me. She got up from the chair, and walked toward the dresser that was in the room. A water jar was there, and I watched as she poured a few drops in a napkin as she walked to me. She gently dabbed my lips with it and poured a few drops inside my mouth before removing it. “I don’t want to take a risk when you just wok

Diego:The door was knocked in the infirmary room as I looked out the window, knowing that Giovanni was going to bring Lea here.I needed to set things straight, but the thing was, right now, I didn’t even know how I was going to escape this, but I knew one thing, she was going to understand that I didn’t want to be with her. Only I won’t reject her. She has to be on my side, and rejecting her will only put me through a fuss that I did not need.“Come in,” I called, not bothering to turn to the door as it opened. Lea walked inside, I could hear her footsteps, and I didn’t turn until I heard the door closing. “You called for me,”“I heard what I told you.” I said, not bothering to sugarcoat anything. She didn’t respond, and I turned to face her, waiting for a comment from her. However, I was neither dumb nor blind, I knew that she was hopeful before, but now after hearing my tone, she understood that it wasn’t something that I wanted happening. “I don’t expect you to offer what you d

Diego: “Come on.” I said, looking at Lea who was aimlessly walking around the pack grounds. I didn’t know where Giovanni was, but I was sure that he spoke to her, and judging by the anger that I saw in her eyes toward me, I knew that it might not have gone the way that I wanted it to. But right now, that was the least of my concerns. She didn’t respond, but she did walk forward as she entered the house, knowing that we were going to be leaving to the pack. The pain that I read in her body language was not one that I liked, nor was it one that I wanted to see, but I did not aim to change it. If anything, she knew who she was in comparison to who I am. Vieri and Mario saw us by the door, and I extended my hand to shake the Alpha’s. “I am forever thankful for what you have done for me and my pack. I wouldn’t have known what I would have done if you hadn’t found her.” Vieri looked at Lea for a second and then at me. “She is a strong girl, she would have managed to find her way bac

Diego: “I am amazed to see that you are as frightened of the woman as you are. Never did I expect to see you dismissing one because you wanted to talk.” He said, knowing that he was playing on a very thin line right now. The anger that I felt boiling inside me was one that I didn’t know how to describe, but I knew one thing, the man was going to be regretting the way that he was speaking to me the second that I was able to take him down. I just needed to grow stronger, and I was going to be sure that he eats his own words before he is able to say them. “Or is it the fact that you are afraid that I am going to tell her that you…?” “I am not afraid of her, nor am I afraid of what you think that you can do.” I said, stopping the man. His eyes hardened, and I knew that underestimating him was a bad idea. But he had to understand that underestimating what I could do was going to be fatal for him too. The man didn’t understand that he was growing older, and I was growing stronger. This ga

Diego:“You could have been badly hurt, Diego. How could you go to them when you know that they are not allies? They could have killed…”“The Alpha and Beta are Lea’s great uncle and grandfather.” I said, stopping mom. Renata, who was sitting on the couch, looking as proud as she was, straightened just as both Lea and Giovanni entered the living room. “Wait, wait, she is an Alpha blood?” Renata asked, looking at Lea. I took a deep breath, still furious with the woman. But I knew better than to fight or argue with her right now. The woman knew that she was playing on thin ice with me, but I knew that this was something that surprised her. Mom looked at Lea for a second, now seeming a lot more interested in what happened.“They invited us over when they found out that she was part of my pack right now.” I said, looking at Lea. She smiled and mom extended a hand for her. Lea frowned in confusion, but mom tapped the armrest of the couch that she was sitting on. Lea smiled and sat down by
