Lahat ng Kabanata ng Auctioned To My Mafia Lord: Kabanata 71 - Kabanata 80

Ava's POVOnly then did Miguel finally take his eyes off me to glance out the window. He got out of the car and held the door open for me. I stepped out and followed him into the most expensive-looking restaurant I had ever seen.Even from outside, it sparkled, and when we walked into the restaurant, we were greeted by a live band. The music sounded great, and for a moment, it felt like I had crashed into another world.“What table, sir?” the waitress at the entrance asked us, and Miguel muttered something to her.She grinned and led us to the booth by the window with a wonderful view of a water fountain outside and beautiful lights that made it feel like Christmas came early.I took off my jacket and slid into the seat with my eyes glued to the water fountain."It’s beautiful,” I complimented.“I know. I had a feeling you'd love it,” he muttered, and I took my eyes off the fountain to stare into his dreamy eyes.“How did you find this place?” I asked, leaning my arm on the table.“I

Ava's POVMy hormones and my heart planned on murdering me each time Miguel and I were in proximity. The sexual tension kept increasing but I was determined to fight it. But it was proving to be the hardest task, especially since Miguel was becoming a changed person. There has been a really big change in Miguel since our agreement. He was so much softer, and not just at the orphanage or to the factory workers. Lately, his warmth was spread to everyone, including his men in the house. Miguel was less violent toward them and hadn't hit or tried to kill any of them in the last few days, which I would call progress. If I remember correctly, it was usually the opposite. He was really trying, and I could tell that none of this was easy for him, which made me feel proud. I was proud of him and how he was handling things. He was cheerful, fun, and nothing like the Miguel I met the day I was auctioned to him. Thinking about that time in comparison to now, It felt like a different lifetime."

Ava's POVI stopped.“Please, don’t leave.” He rushed toward me, grabbing my arm, and I turned to him slowly.Miguel closed the door behind me, hovering over me. My eyes immediately went to his hand gripping mine and the subtleness of that touch sent a delicious sensation up my thighs. His eyes flashed as if he had felt it too and then just as fast as it had happened, he released his grip on my arm, “Sorry.”I didn't move. My eyes drifted to his face, and I sucked in my lips, letting my eyes wander down his broad chest. He was so fucking hot, and staring at him made my lungs dry. My eyes wandered lower, and I caught sight of a bruise just below his ribs. I recognized that scar. He had gotten it from Indira.I swallowed hard, stretching my hand to his body and tracing the scar with the tip of my finger. I raised my head to his face.“Is this where the bullet—”“Yeah,” he cut in with a sweet smile.“Oh,” I mumbled with a frown, returning my gaze to the scar, “I'm so sorry. This is all

Miguel's POVI snuck out of bed early the next morning and ordered something delicious for us. When the food arrived, I set the table and returned to the room to wake Ava up.There was a smile on my face as I headed to the room, knowing how much she would love what I put together, but the moment I got to the room, blood rushed through my pants.Waking Ava up without going another round turned out to be a very hard task to accomplish. She looked so peaceful, innocent, and amazing in her sleep. My cock twitched.Merda.There was no way I would wake her and not kiss those beautiful lips. Considering how many times we went at it last night, she had to be tired. I had to let her rest. She looked so peaceful in her sleep yet so sexy, I would be a monster to ruin it.I just couldn't do it. I couldn't ruin this amazing look she had on her face, so I decided to take a few pictures to immortalize the moment first. I clicked a few pictures, then more. When I was done, I scrolled through the pic

Ava's POV Miguel and I had spent the last two weeks visiting the cemetery after that one emotional evening. It was something like a routine because I felt bad that I had never visited them all these years until now. I felt obliged to make it up to them, so I decided to come often and chat with the headstones as everyone did. I was not alone in this.Miguel had been persistent enough to tag along each time, and honestly, It was pretty nice being there with him than being there alone. I was glad to have him by my side. There was also something remarkable about him coming with me besides it being comfortable —being there with him gave our relationship more depth than I could ever put into words. Our worlds were constantly entangled into one, which was relieving in many ways. Miguel had seen me in all shades that even Fernando had never experienced in all his years of knowing me.He had watched me break down so many times and helped pull me back together repeatedly. He knew me better th
