Lahat ng Kabanata ng My Alpha's First Love Returned: A Tale of Redemption: Kabanata 11 - Kabanata 20

POV Thorne As they walked up the staircase Axel 's smirk grew wider, like he knew something I didn't. I forced myself to remain calm, to keep my expression neutral. I extended my arm to Azalea, offering her my elbow. She took it gracefully, her touch sending a shiver down my spine. "Shall we?" I asked, trying to keep my voice steady. We entered the grand hall, the sound of violins filling the air. The pack stood in formation, waiting for us to begin the procession. I could feel their eyes on us, assessing our every move. As we walked past them, I could sense the tension in their shoulders, the way they held themselves just a little tighter. They were worried about us, about how we would handle being together in public. But I knew that they were also watching, waiting for any sign of weakness. Axel continued to smirk as he walked beside me, his arm still casually draped over Azalea's shoulders. She looked over at me, her expression a mixture of sympathy and regret. I could tell she

POV Thorne It has been a week since I've seen Azalea. Every day I've spent trying to figure out what to do. I can't seem to shake the doubt that Lucille has planted in my mind. What if the Moon Goddess was wrong about her being my mate? What if I'm not meant to be Alpha? "Thorne, son, you have been awfully quiet. Is there something bothering you?" My father asked as we sat in his parlor having a cognac. "It's just..." I began, hesitating. "I'm not sure if I'm meant to be Alpha. I mean, what if the Moon Goddess was wrong about Azalea being my mate?" He took a sip of his drink, his eyes fixed on mine. "I see. And when did you begin doubting the Moon Goddess?" he asked with a raised brow. "Father, I've always respected the Moon Goddess and her will, but lately...I don't know. Lucille has been whispering things, and it's just...it's getting to me." He sighed, taking another drink. "I understand that you're worried, son. But you must remember that the pack has always trusted your

POV Thorne As she stood there I walked through her living room and back to her bedroom. She followed behind me. “You can’t just expect me to drop what I am doing and go somewhere with you, Thorne” she argued. I had to avoid looking at her so she didn’t see the smirk plastered on my face. “I already checked with your professors and you have a vacation so….” I pulled out her drawer and started to grab out a pair of frilly panties. I could feel myself growing hard in my pants as I began to think about what she would look like wearing them. Azalea came up and snatched them from my hands, "I-I don't think this is a good idea." She said, I shook my head and pulled out some items from her other drawers. "It's not my idea. My father needs us to go to another pack and make an appearance." I could tell she was hesitating. I could also tell that she was growing more and more uncomfortable with the items I kept pulling out. I didn't want her to get too upset, so I decided to change the sub

POV ThorneAs the night drew on, I found myself lost in the rhythm of the dance, the feel of Leah in my arms, the smell of her hair, and the sound of her laughter. It was as if all the time we had been apart had vanished, and we were back where we belonged, together. I couldn't help but wonder if she was beginning to believe me, if she was starting to trust me again. I felt a surge of hope, and with it, a determination to make things right between us. I knew I had been a fool to allow Vanessa to come between us, and I was grateful for this second chance to prove myself to Leah. I knew she still had insecurities about what my relationship was with Vanessa but I wasn't lying to her. Our dance came to an end, and as we walked back to our table, I couldn't help but steal glances at her, admiring her beauty, her grace. I wanted nothing more than to tell her that I loved her, that I would do anything to make her happy, but I knew I had to be patient. I had to give her time to heal, to trust

POV ThorneThe ride to the Starlight Gatherers was long and silent. She stared out the window, watching the scenery change from the familiar cityscape to the rugged beauty of the mountains as they passed by. A part of me felt guilty for not telling her my father's true intentions of sending us to the Starlight Gatherers but I knew if I mentioned it she would be on the first plane home back to the pack and I seized this opportunity to spend time with her alone.I was such a fucking fool to have done anything to hurt her, why didn't I just tell her the truth, that Vanessa was an old friend and I was helping out her mother and that's why I had slept at her house? Why couldn't I just tell her that I only kept it a secret because of the status of Meredith and she didn't want the pack knowing her business, that she was sick and her health despite all remedies was still deteriorating? Damn it! Yes, I had been attracted to Vanessa, yes we kissed, well all right we made and yes I slept in h
