Lahat ng Kabanata ng MANIPULATING THE ELUSIVE ALPHA : Kabanata 41 - Kabanata 50

NATHANIEL'S POV “I should do what exactly?” I neared the man called Tristan so he could not forget I was the one going to the king's Palace.I still remembered the bet I made with him and I hoped he remembered too. He looked at me and instantly, I could tell that he did. “Here is how you infiltrate the palace.” He began and both me and Malcolm gave him rapt attention.“There is a food channel that goes into the palace. It is a hidden food channel because the king is Afraid of his enemies getting to him through there. Even me too, don't know how to get in there but I know where the laborers are picked up along with their luggage.”“Ok,” Malcolm urges him to continue.“The wolves who pick them up are skilled in two things - detecting malicious intent and magic of any kind.” He saved me a side glance.I smiled simply. That won't be a problem, I know how to handle that. Which Slyvia had taught Me.………. After I fully joined Malcolm, he took me out across the border Into a conqu

EMILY'S POV “My Alpha, you need to go to the chamber now, they are waiting for you, you don't have all the time to yourself.” She disengages from his warm embrace.“Yes, these are the moments that made me hate the throne and all those old men most. It's when they know I just came back from a journey, they would surface. They should not be coming for meetings at times like this you know. It's not exactly the fanciest thing.” He grumbled and I laughed. He always whined about the morning court processions anytime he just came back from a journey. He was sitting on the bed and I was standing in front of him. I bent over and he let me kiss him. He smiled when my lips left his.“You will regret that. After I deal with those old men, I will come back for you.” I turned and walked away, making sure he could see the way my hips moved. I went to the window and leaned on it, staring back at him with my big black eyes. He glared at me.“Don't tempt me, woman. I can damn everything and come af

EMILY'S POV“I will not kill him, frankly I had forgotten about him until the boy told me that Ethan was his father and Ethan married an omega in the end. Do you think I should go and see him?”“Most certainly my Luna but not so you can mock him, but so you can see for yourself what has become of him and If possible, forgive him.”I glared at her. The suggestion hit me badly and my temper rose all of a sudden.“Forgive who? You are mad, right? After what I told you he did to me. He deserves to die instead.”“My Luna, you don’t need to hold a grudge. You need a clear heart, he is not worth being a burden to your heart” I looked away, she made sense but I didn't want to listen to anyone tell me anything about forgiving that bastard. Because of him eighteen year old ended up drunk in a hotel room with a stranger, and woke up defiled and marked. Because of him, I raised two boys by myself in abject poverty for eight years. What If Lucien was a monster? What if I was left to die in that r

NATHANIEL 'S POVThere was a glint of frightening anger in my voice and yet, I spoke so kindly, but the boy was scared.“Betas”. He answered,” They said they would kill me because I am an Omega.” His voice was shaking, he was lean and pale just like me back then, after I lost my family.I smiled, his predicament could help me.“Do you want to stop being an Omega?” I asked him.He looked frightened but he still nodded courageously.“I have a way to make you one. A way to take this fear away, a way where Betas bow to you and you will be the one hurting them. A way to end all these problems, so you and your family will not live in fear and problems anymore.” “Is it possible?” He asked me, with disbelief in his voice. He needed a demonstration. I looked at the tree beside me and conjured a spell. The tree rotted immediately. The boy was shocked“If I can do that. Do you think I cannot make you a Beta?” I looked directly at himHe bowed at me immediately.“Sir, please give me strength. I

NATHANIEL 'S POV "Today is the beginning of the contest for selecting the royal guard of the king. The first day is for questioning. This session will decide who knows the most about his Alpha and this great kingdom, the contestants are…”The wolf chief of guards continued to talk. He was used as a temporary replacement while the king found someone who would take the position that Tristan, his Beta, left open. I sat in the third seat, hidden in the small crowd of potential contestants who were with me. The question would soon begin.I peered at the different people there. Black magic cannot identify who is the smartest or the winner but it can help stop a thing or two from happening, which was what I was depending on.“Contestants, are you ready?” The wolf chief of the guard asked.“Yes!” They all chorused.“This is awesome. I always love these contests, especially this session.” Someone speaks behind me. I looked back. It was Andy. She ordered the boy beside me to leave his seat
