Lahat ng Kabanata ng MANIPULATING THE ELUSIVE ALPHA : Kabanata 21 - Kabanata 30

LUCIEN POVWe both rose in shock but Emily was faster to yell. “Come in, Sir Tristan.” The door opened and he walked into the room. Immediately he saw us, he bent his head down so as not to look but there was something about the expression on his face before he bent his head and I was not sure what it was but it wasn't the look a soldier should show when he sees his alpha.“Where did you find her?” I asked him.“In the dark wood of Siri. She is being protected by the Men of the rogue wolf king of Siri - Leo Dore. Our scouts reported the movement of Dore's soldiers in his camp. It seems that they are preparing for attack and perhaps they think they will win by taking over the powers of the twins. For them to not have attacked shows they are yielding no fruit yet.I asked the sorcerers here and they said that as long as she has not started the collection of power rituals, the children will not be harmed in any way.”Immediately after he said that I felt the tension leave Emily's body

LUCIEN'S POV Tristan saw me immediately as he stepped out of the hole we made in the house. He rushed to me and tried to help me to my feet but I stopped him, pointing at the boy lying next to me, face down.“Take him first. I can keep going myself as long as I stay in my wolf form.” He bowed and went to the boy. Picking him up from the ground. His head was bleeding but he was healing fast. The general met us almost immediately. He was carrying the second boy in his arms. I looked at the two children… they both had my face but their mother's eye. It warmed my heart too much to see that. I wanted to hold them but I could not even stand. Thorson and Tristan stepped back as I returned to my wolf form. I gestured to Tristan to get on my back with the children. He did. The rest shifted like me and we began to leave the desolation of dead wolves. It was breaking dawn already. The light of the day revealed us and the blood that stained our fur as we went down the thorn bushes we cr

EMILY'S POV “Please don't do this, please. I didn't do anything to you please stop please.” I begged, tears flowing freely out of my eyes but she was completely deaf to my pleas, scooping up more sand and pouring into the hole, I struggled to my feet attempting to run to one or the ends of the whole and climb out but each time I tried, she rushed to me and hit my hand. Eventually, I got too sore to even lift them. My legs are too weak to carry me. The sand was filling the hole and she was laughing maniacally at me. All I could do was cry.I looked up at the moon's goodness and I prayed silently. “Please Lucien help me. Lucien… Tristan.” Was the last name that left my mouth before the sand covered my head.I was suffocating. I was sure I was going to die. I hoped Lucien would take care of the children and I still wanted to say something to Tristan. I almost went cold when someone grabbed my hand and pulled me out of the sand.I felt my body jerk out and fall into someone's arm

LUCIEN'S POV I walked up to my throne and sat down, rubbing the sore on my mouth. Emily bit down so hard last night that it left a wound. What a naughty girl!Well, at least she wasn't running away from me anymore and the boys are becoming harder to control. I was not this big of a headache when I was growing up.While I was lost in my thoughts, General Thorson stepped into the room and his heavy footsteps brought me back to reality. I looked up to him as he bowed before me. “I had everything ready, my king. Soldiers stationed In all streets to make sure nothing happens.” He reported.“Alright.” I stood up immediately and the two of us headed outside. Today, I decided to go on an inspection around the capital city. A strange rumor had been in the air for a while and I wanted to see for myself, the man who was boldly spreading them. Tristan was still suspended and so I was going with the general. We had disguised ourselves in ordinary clothes and left the palace through the

NATHANIEL'S POV They jerked my body off the cart and it fell into the hole. I was still breathing but barely clinging to life. But it wasn't the Wounds and the pain that hurt me but the fact that I had been, just like my family, killed by a man who was no pure-blooded Werewolf. I heard the soldiers say a few things mockingly, and then they spat on my slightly open eyes and walked away. I lay there, awaiting my death but then I began to hear her talking again, it’s coming closer and I could sense the power approaching even though I was dying. The wolf stopped beside the hole I was thrown into and I heard him say to someone to bring me out of the hole. Soon, I felt my body moving and falling on firm shoulders. They brought me out of the hole and continued. I was losing consciousness, the last thing I could remember was some saying.“Fix him. We need him to…” and the husky masculine voice fell into the dark. …… My eyes opened slowly. I turned to the side and immediately, a
