Chapter 11 - opening up

Jaxon's POV"Alpha..." she says while pulling away. I'm not mad at her. I understand."What's wrong Esme" I ask curiously."I'm so sorry Alpha. I didn't mean to do that"I smile back at her and I push my luck by pulling her closer to me and giving her a hug. She's stiff at first. I actually don't think she's ever done this before. "I don't want you to feel the need to apologise to me okay. Don't worry about how I'd react or anything because it's nice to feel like you're happy to be around me. I'm one step closer to you opening up a little bit more" I tell her with certainty in my eyes. I can't see it but I know it I can feel it.I let go of her so she knows that she doesn't need to do anything she doesn't want. She pulls away and she's sitting back on the floor. I need to know what she's on the floor instead of the bed."Esme why are you sitting on the floor instead of the bed?" I come across as nosey but I'm just curious."Comfier for me I guess" she says while looking away. We've b

Finley's POVI'm walking around downstairs and I pass by a lot of people, some of them are keep their distance. I believe Alpha Jaxon told them not to approach me until I feel alright to be around so many people. My mind wonders to my sister. I haven't heard her scream yet and she was okay with that lady earlier. What's her name...I can't for the life f me remember her name. I'll make a mental note to ask Jaxon when I see him next which will probably be tomorrow."Excuse me""Yes. Can I help you?" A middle aged woman calls back out to me"My sister. I'm just wondering if I can get a sandwich to take up to her please""Of course dear. Give me a minute and I'll bring it out to you"Once she's given me Esme's food I make my way back upstairs and head towards her room. She hasn't left her room all day so I can only assume that she's still sat in here. But when I open my door I'm not expecting what's in front of me.There laying on the bed in the arms of her mate is my sister fast asleep.

chapter 14 - a week later

Esme's POVIt's been a week since me and Finn came to the Midnight pack. I can already feel myself getting a little stronger. Today I have asked Finn if we can go outside for a little while. I want to see what it's like here."Are you ready Esme?" Fin asks me while knocking on my door."Yeah Come on in" I had just finished getting dressed when I heard his voice, I'm wearing black Joggers and a long grey top with roses on the front of it with my trainers on. Alpha Jaxon got rid of our clothes and shoes that we came with as he didn't want us to feel like we had to wear them and not accept what he gave us. He's been spending a lot of time with me over the last week and I am starting to feel a better connection to him now. All of my bruises are almost gone and the split lip has started healing as well and I have noticed Alana wanting to talk more now she's got some strength so I take that as a bonus."You look good" Fin says. I know he means it but I can't help but laugh at him. I'm a lit

Jaxon's POVI'm stood at the top of the stairs with my mom who has prepared a nice night for me and Esme with snacks and drinks."She's in the kitchen with Finley now""She has settled in a bit better now hasn't she. And Finley's doing good with training""He sure is. I think he uses training as an excuse to use all his pent up anger and emotions he's had to hold back which makes it difficult because he hasn't shifted yet and he's got a great deal of strength on him""He will learn to manage it all better. You boys are doing good for them. I'm proud of you and it's also nice to see you not so serious"While talking to my mom I hear Esme call me a jackass for having her go downstairs.'I'm not a jackass. And my ass is fine Thankyou' and I'm instantly laughing when I hear her coughing and laughing in amusement."What happened there?" My mom asks while smiling at me." I just got called a jackass. That's what" I tell her and she's instantly laughing and patting my shoulder while walking

Chapter 16 - Bonding

Esme's POVHe's standing there with his hands at his sides waiting for me to either accept or reject him. My heart and head know exactly what it's going to do but I wanted to keep him waiting a moment longer just to see if he's serious.I can hear everyone at the door which means his heart must be beating loudly for him to not know that they're there.I start with looking at him in the eyes and I can see many emotions in his eyes."I, Esme west of the waterside pack. Accept you, Alpha Jaxon from the midnight pack to be Your Mate and your Luna of the midnight pack"His face lights up like he's just Won a toy at the carnival and I can't help but smile at him. He doesn't move but I can hear Blaze in my mind. He and Alana are getting on pretty smoothly so say we only just accepted each other. He's just about to move when my door gets swung open and there is his mom and dad, Charlie (his brother) Hunter who is is best friend and my bestfriend / brother all standing there smiling and clappi

Jaxon's POV"100% princess" I tell her. I can see that she was worried and I don't want her to be."I want you as well." I tell her while sliding my fingers in the band of her trousers and I can sense she's nervous."Do it" she says to me while wrapping her hands around my neck and biting her bottom lip."Fuck. You know what your doing to me right"She goes all seductive on me in a matter of seconds. How the fuck she do that?I pull her lip from her teeth and it's all red from her biting on it and I turns me on all the more.I pull her trousers down and her black underwear follows closely behind afterwards and she looks so sexy laying on the bed like that. I remove my pants and I'm left in my briefs.I lean back down to kiss her and she's putting her fingers in the waist band of my boxes to pull them down. She looks at me but doesn't say anything."What do you want princess""I want you to take them off" she said quickly. I chuckle but she doesn't need to ask me twice. Her mouth falls

Esme's POVI'm walking out of Jaxon's room I see Finn walking towards his room which is just down the corridor from mine."Morning Finn" I say not too loud to get anyone else looking but loud enough so he can hear me."He little sis how ar..."I tried so hard to cover up my mating mark by my hair so he or no one else could see it and my smile is as big as anything right now!"ESME! What.."Oh fuck. He's seen it. Well now is the time to tell him the news."Shhh. Not here. Follow me"I push her into her room and she turns around with a smile on her face. I haven't seen her smile properly for so long."He's marked you!!"" I wanted him to. Please don't be mad""Why would I be mad? He loves you and I hope you love him too?""I do! I marked him first. Finn it was the first night I have felt safe and happy in years. Apart from you. We've always tried to be there for each other and your my best friend""I know. Does this mean you're going to be my Luna?""I haven't thought about that yet. I

Do you want to become Luna?""I do. But what if I mess it up. I'm not ruining a picture here it's a whole pack" Esme tells her while drinking her tea. She's a worrier because of all that's happened before and she doesn't want to make a single mistake that could cost Jaxon his pack."Oh darling. You're going to do great. When I first hear I was a Luna I threw up. The exhaustion never went away it only increased but over time i got better at it. I knew what was at stake there and I worried like what you are doing now but Jacob believed in me the same way my boy believes in you"Robyn tried to comfort Esme whil

chapter 20 - oath

Finley's POVTonight has been great. I've noticed Esme sitting nearer to a corner but this is a huge thing for her that I knew she would feel a little uncomfortable with hundreds of people gathering for tonight. It's 8:30 and it's already dark outside because it's November time and I have had people coming up to me and asking me questions and it's been nice."Are you ready" Jacob says to me while patting my back. Robyn has been with my sister most of today, she didn't say why she said that Esme wanted to tell me tomorrow."I'm good. Im ready I think""Good because Jaxon is about to get up there and will be waiting for you. You've got this son. Do me proud""I will. Thankyou sir""Please just Jacob lad. Your family" I don't shot my emotions but I show my gratitude towards them and Alpha Jaxon and his beta and gamma for all they have done for us so far."As most of you know" Jaxon begins with."Finley can you come up here please" he says while looking my way. He knows when to remain pro
