ELAINE (CATHERINE) ... "Chairman Roullard..." Edward greeted, "I didn't realise you would accept the invitation." "How can I not..." His sharp grey eyes fell on me, "after all you were the favourite of Elder Reinford. I needed to witness the success of your family." "This is Jerard Roullard most famously known as Chairman Roullard. He is the chairman of the Roullard Corporation." Edward introduced him to me. I smiled at him as he stepped forward and stretched his hand toward me, "May I have this dance with you?" He asked. There was an anticipation in his tone that heightened the curiosity in me. Glancing at my husband once I nodded before taking his hand, "Sure..." His hand was warm while touched. Slowly, he led me to the middle and we started dancing with other couples. "Congratulations, for your success." He said between the dance. "Thanks, Mr Roullard," I muttered. His eyes were on me, never left for once. Generally, under the gazes of any man, I felt awkward because they we

ELAINE (CATHERINE) ..... The funeral of Alberto was full of sorrow for me and Marco. However, we said the last goodbye to him before he was buried... People came, consoled me and Marco, then left. For them It was just an experience but for us... Alberto was a memory of fatherhood. Bianca came too. She did not talk to me but I heard that she was out of the country last night and appeared as soon as she heard about Alberto. I don't know how much she cares for him but I for sure could see love for him. It's slightly surprising that she once left him only to focus on her career, breaking six years of relationship. Well, people do change though. I didn't bring Della here today. She was home with Liam. Perhaps we will return tomorrow... I stood there beside my husband and watched people coming and going. Suddenly, Bianca walked toward us and nodded at Edward with a smile before turning to me, "Hi Elaine." "Hi, Bianca," I replied. "Can we chat?" She asked and I looked up at my husband.

CATHERINE... I opened my eyes and was greeted by the white ceiling of the hospital ward. The continuous beeping sound of the machine has become a routine sound now... A soft touch on my hand made me turn to the side. Edward was asleep holding my hand. Sitting on the chair beside my bed, he kept his head beside me. I swallowed hard. It's like a dream to see him this way. Caring for me, loving me... I never thought that in this life it would be possible. But, here we are. Just when I thought I had lost everything the wheel of my gate turned and brought me again to the same man who never loved me in the past, in a new way. I don't know if the incident with Regina was a curse or a blessing to me but that incident Brought back my memories... Yes, I regained the memories that I lost four years ago. I remember every single incident and every single person now. I remember who loved me dearly and who hurt me brutally. That night when Sophia saved me, she also told me about my daughters...

EDWARD... I watched Catherine fall asleep and the gentleness I had in me was slowly gone. Carefully placing her head on the pillow and covering her with the quilt, I walked out of the room and found Liam had already lured Della to sleep. I took her and let her sleep beside her mother. Immediately, Catherine's unconscious mind held her possessively which made me smile. Well, a mother is always a mother no matter even if she is in sleep. Kissing both my ladies I walked out again and asked Liam to take care before I went to the open space, away from them where Addison was waiting for me. "How is ma'am now?" He asked with devotion. "Hmm, she is fine now," I replied, looking out at the dark night. "Will you go out today, sir?" "Hmm... Let's go." Finally, after three days I walked out of the hospital. These days, Addison kept bringing me clothes as I did not leave Catherine for a second. Even did not even let our daughter leave. Liam would bring her out from time to time so she was

CATHERINE... After lunch, Edward had to join an important meeting and I went to see my daughter. In front of her room, Liam was standing. Seeing him, my heart shivered. I might have kept this subject in the second in my priority list, but it's not less important. I really need to know what CHAIRMAN Roullard want now. Edward did not know but there was a huge part of my past I have never opened to anyone and I wouldn't like to open it in the future either... Slowly I looked at my wrist which was covered with foundation. That R.R. Once I return to London, I will make sure to dissolve this from my hand. Previously, I kept it to remind myself to not repeat the same mistakes my mother had made which influenced me to escape. Time passed by and here I am again... More confident and stronger than before. Now, I don't need it anymore. I walked toward her room and Liam turned to me. "Hello, ma'am." He greeted. "How are you feeling now?" He asked politely. I pressed a cold smile on my face,
