Lahat ng Kabanata ng Father, Please.: Kabanata 101 - Kabanata 110

With his shirt around my chest, I follow him into the living room, confusion swirling around my insides. “Aryan wait, you can’t just walk out like that, we were still talking.”“You were talking, I was done.”Fuck, this can’t be happening, he was not even looking at me, his tone had gone icy, what the fuck did that even mean? “Was confessing my feelings that terrible? You would not even look at me.”“Feelings were never in the cards Melanie.”He said Melanie, not Mel, fuck, what is this? Panic swished inside of my body, I almost choke on it, it tasted vile and awful. I couldn't breathe, the ground moved under my feet. “Well, I could not stop them. They grew on their own. What was I suppose to do?”Panic had me raising my voice, my throat had gone dry but I was finding water for him, he looked at the bottle I stretched out and back at me, he side steps me and finds a bottle for himself. Tears sting the corners of my eyes when I realize what just happened, he was clearly rejecting me

The night came and the party was in full swing, Danny introduced me to Rita, and I was pleasantly surprised to see that she was very different from Mabel, where Mabel was soft around the edges, Rita was rough, where Mabel was gentle,, Rita was not, she spoke only a few sentences but that seemed to do something to Danny because she would not stop staring, Mabel was a laugher, if there was anything like that, but Rita didn’t crack a smile, and she knew how to handle her liquor. She must also like Danny because she monitored everything Danny was drinking. I thought it was kind of cute. What wasn’t cute was the fact that since he had made all the food, Victor had nowhere to be except by my side. It was more than frustrating, after I said yes to go on a date with him, please don’t ask me why he had a ring for a date, he said it was a promise ring, and until I had fulfilled my promise to go on a date with him, I wasn’t suppose to take it off, only to return it after the date. Aryan sunk i

“You are positively glowing.” Danny compliments when I open the door for her on Sunday morning. “Must be from all of that orgasm.” she tells herself as she stepped into the house.“You sound cranky, possibly because of the lack of orgasms?” I tell her, sipping my mango juice. She narrowed her eyes at me before sighing, “I had too much to drink and Rita spent the entire night holding my hair out of her toilet bowl, to say I would never show my face around her anymore is an understatement.” she cried.I wince, feeling sorry for Rita, and being grateful that I was not in Rita’s shoes. Now that I think about it, I sniff the air, and there was a lingering smell of booze coming from her, she must have been drunk, drunk. “I was luckier, since I had no chance of sleeping, until I snuck out early this morning. And do you know what he told me? He said I should not bother coming to work today, and I could spend the entire day in bed. Isn’t he the sweetest?” I sigh wistfully. “Please, do rub

That must have been the best sleep of my life since I did not even stir when he pulled away from me. It was not until I was awake, that was when I realized the other side of the bed was empty. “Aryan?” I call out sweetly, imagining he was outside the bedroom door making breakfast for me.Oh, how lucky I was, the man I loved, loved me, I could not help the giggles that spilled out of me, the leg flapping too, it was almost embarrassing, but who cares? We did not even sleep together but it was very possibly the best sleep I ever had. I pat down my hair, combing out the knots with my fingers as I try to look presentable for him, using my phone as my mirror, I find crusted saliva at the corner of my mouth, cussing, I rush to the the bathroom to wash my face. It was only when I get out that I realize, the house was too quiet, there would have been pots and pans clanking together if he was making me breakfast like I thought. Checking the time on my phone, I find it was few minutes past

“Why aren’t you going after him? I already did the hard part.” Evan asked when I collapsed into his sofa, right after we found him.I chew on my lips, thoughts rushing through my mind at the speed of light, each one too pointing in the same direction, he was going to up and leave me again, right where I stood after going to find him. I always knew he was materialistic, I just had to find a way to beat his father’s properties, without that, he was going to continually slip from my grasp. “Help me one more time Evan, help me find his father’s lawyer, and his father’s will, it doesn’t matter what you have to do to find it, just do.” Evan stared at me for a long time, as if trying to decode the hidden meaning in what I just asked of him, and when he found that I was serious, he nods once and goes to press certain keys on the keypad in front of him. My eyes strayed to the blinking red dot that was his location. I will come to you, in the meantime, just be safe and wait for me.“What do
