Lahat ng Kabanata ng My Alpha Ex-Husband Regrets: Kabanata 241 - Kabanata 250

Trista’s POV Once we were settled into Liam’s private study, I launched right into what had happened when I’d gone into the store across the street from my office. “You should have seen it,” I said. “Every single one of the pieces were exact replicas of my own designs. I couldn’t believe it. It was heartbreaking.” “I’m so sorry, Trista,” Hazel said sympathetically. “And there was this sales clerk. She wanted me to sign up for a VIP program to buy exclusive pieces. MY pieces.” My mind flashed back to the sheer devastation I’d felt that day seeing all MY jewelry on display in someone else’s store. I’d worked so hard on my brand Tall Tree Design. I had so many dreams for my brand. I felt like they’d been shattered and smashed all over the floor. The maids interrupted us, bringing in trays of assorted food. My mouth began to salivate. I hadn’t realized how hungry I was. Liam gave me a look that told me to keep quiet while t

Trista’s POV “Grrrr!” Pele’s wolf let out a loud, playful growl. Billy, Belle, Felicity and myself were all sitting outside on the grass. Pele’s wolf pounced and Billy and Belle squealed with delight. “They sure love Pele’s wolf,” I said to Felicity. She was watching her grandchildren play with the big Gamma wolf. She had a proud smile on her face. “They really do,” she smiled at me. Over the past few days, I’d made an effort to include Felicity and Sven in a lot of activities with the children. They were Billy and Belle’s grandparents, after all. And I was willing to put aside whatever differences we had for the benefit of the children. Sven was currently busy at the moment though, so Felicity and I had decided to take the children for a walk outside. We’d come across Pele.“Change!” they started begging him. “Please Pele?” Pele winked at the children and then shifted. He’d playfully chased them all the way over to the grass, wh

Trista’s POV “Mamma! Can we go play with Parker?” I was in the middle of making their beds when Billy and Belle appeared at the door. They were bouncing up and down excitedly. “Please, Mamma. Parker’s here. Can we go to the primordial forest? Please?” I thought it was so adorable that they were still calling it the primordial forest. “I don’t about that,” I said, fluffing up a pillow and straightening out the blanket. “I think you’re still a bit too young to go to the forest alone.” “We won’t be alone. Parker’s coming,” Billy said. I hesitated.I hadn’t been allowing Billy and Belle to go into the forest without an adult. Not because the forest was dangerous, but because they were still little and they were still getting used to the rules of the pack. Every other child raised in the pack knew where they could play and where they couldn’t in the forest. They were taught it at a very young age. But Billy and Be

Trista’s POV My heart clutched. “A coma?” I whispered out loud. That was bad, like REALLY bad. Why did I let them go out into the forest? This was all my fault. I’d been careless. I never should have let them go alone. If I had just said no, and kept them home, then none of this would have happened. My little girl was in a coma. The gash in her stomach was so deep. It had all happened so fast. One moment, I was making their beds and the next? “Where’s Liam?” I asked. I needed to see him. He was always so calm. So steady. I needed his strength. Belle was his daughter. He should be here. “I mindlinked Liam,” Pele said beside me. “He’s on his way.” I swallowed and then went to Belle’s bedside. She looked so small and frail laying there, her eyes closed, her hands folded over the blanket on her stomach. Her hair was splayed all over the pillow. She looked like an angel. “When will she wake

Trista’s POV “Consider it?” I said, my voice barely above a whisper.I hadn’t expected him to say that. Instead, I thought he was asking his parents to leave so we could be alone with Belle. Apparently, though, he actually wanted to talk about this.Instantly, my thoughts spun. I was so confused. Liam and I had broken our bond five years ago. There was nothing left. Was there?I touched my wrist and ran my fingers over the faint scar. The scar was from our wedding, where I’d been cut during the blood ritual. Liam had the same one. Unlike most scars, which could be healed by our wolves, a blood ritual scar couldn’t be healed. Our two scars would always be there. They were even more permanent than a tattoo. My mind flashed back to my wedding. I’d been so full of hope, so excited to become Liam’s Luna. The future had seemed so bright, so full of joy and promise. And my wedding day had been perfect, full of love and optimism, the way every wedding should be.
