DISCHARGE DAY. I sat on my hospital bed packing a few of my properties that I had with me. The little clothes and other things mom and Jane had brought from home for me. I and Jane sat folding my clothes, while my mom was doing whatever she was at the hospital kitchen. She was probably clearing the flask before bringing it for packing. My dad was downstairs helping out with the processes for my discharge. How mom managed to convince me to stay in this hospital for over three weeks is still a wonder to me. Mom, dad and even the doctors worked hand in hand to discourage me from leaving and going back to work Finally I was being discharged today, mom insisted but no way I was going to stay cooped up here for another day. Mom, dad and even Jane all tried their possible best to convince me to go back to New York but I wouldn't listen. I needed someone to be with me, I needed help but it does not have to come from or be in New York. Mom was really mad that I wasn't taking this seriously, she said she would talk to me or come search for me until I decide to go back to New York. GOING TO THE AIRPORT. With my fluffy pink towel wrapped loosely around me and my messy hair fully subdued inside my hair bonnet, I headed to the bathroom. I pulled the towel and hung it on the hanger and I also removed the bonnet. My hair was not just a mess, it was a smelly mess. I wasn't going to head back to New York looking the way I felt, terrible. OLD FLAME. I hadn't heard anything about Rose for a while, things here had been very hectic. The pack needed a reshuffling and I gave all my attention for the past weeks to that. UNPLEASANT VISIT. I stood by the large window in my office, lost in my own world. With my hands deeply tucked in the trousers of my very expensive bulgari three piece suit.
