Chapter 53 Prepare for The Rescue Benoit and Papa Mojo set out on their perilous journey, navigating the treacherous world of voodoo and magic. Their first stop was the Bone Dagger of the loa, hidden deep within a dark and foreboding cave. As they ventured deeper, the air grew thick with the scent of decay and death. Suddenly, a figure emerged from the shadows - a towering loa, its eyes blazing with fury. Papa Mojo stepped forward, his voice steady and respectful. "We come for the dagger, great loa. We mean no disrespect." After explaining why they needed it, the loa regarded them for a moment before nodding its head. "Take the dagger, but be warned: its power comes at a steep price for the one who has taken another's mate." Papa Mojo is confused by these words and thinks that he is referring to shade for taking Raven, but that was not the true meaning. Next, they sought the Heartstone of Erzulie, hidden within a lush and vibrant garden. They reached for the glowing stone, and Erzul

Lisa and I talk, she seems nice and a lot like Lacy I think we'll get along nicely, she whispers in my ear, "I hope you will be with him soon, he needs you, Miss." Back in the kitchen, Niklaus's gaze turns to me, his eyes filled with affection. "Your safety is of utmost importance to me, you must know by now that there's nothing that I wouldn't do to keep you safe." My cheeks flush, my heart racing. "Thank you, Niklaus...that means a lot to me, I'm really glad that you're here." Niklaus steps closer, his voice gentle. "You're family to me, love. He shakes his head no, "So much has happened since then." "I have a photographic memory. She said, 'Take the dagger, but be warned: its power comes at a steep price.' I think we need to talk with Papa Mojo, I think that price has something to do with what's going on here." "Wait," Sam says "Benoit is still here, in his room.!"
