{Third person's pov}it was a Sunday morning, Hazel woke up and found the bed empty she frowned and wore the silk robe of her night gown and walked out of the room.the living room was empty too, she frowned and made her way towards his study, she opened the door slowly just to witness him doing something on his laptop."Good morning," He said with a smile as soon as he saw her entering his study, "Good morning, husband." She whispered and lazily walked towards him.she sat on his lap and hugged him, "It's Sunday, Why are you working today?" she asked. Alan smiled the moment she settled into his lap, one arm instantly wrapping around her waist while the other closed the laptop halfway, clearly she had just become his priority.“Mm… I was trying to work.” He corrected softly, his voice warm, a hint of amusement in it as his fingers brushed lazily along her back.“But then my wife walked in…” He leaned in, pressing a slow, lingering kiss to her shoulder, his nose brushing lightly again

{Third person's pov}Two days laterHazel stood in front of the mirror, adjusting the sleeve of her dress while staring suspiciously at the bedroom door for the third time.Alan had been acting strange since morning. Not distant, if anything, more affectionate than usual, but definitely hiding something.Right on cue, the bedroom door opened and Alan walked in wearing a black shirt with the sleeves rolled up, looking unfairly attractive and annoyingly calm.Hazel narrowed her eyes immediately.“You’re suspicious.”Alan chuckled softly, leaning against the doorframe.“And good evening to you too, wife.”He walked toward her slowly, his gaze lingering on her for a moment before he reached out and fixed a strand of hair behind her ear.“You look beautiful.”Hazel crossed her arms slightly.“Alan.” That only made him smile wider. “Hmm?”“What are you planning?” He laughed under his breath, slipping one arm around her waist and pulling her closer.“You’ll ruin the surprise if you interrogate

{Third person's pov}Another day...Hazel was cleaning the house when the door bell rang, she immediately walked towards the door and opened it just to witness Ema."Hey!" She said excitedly, "Hello beautiful," Ema replied and walked inside with a packet in her hand."here take it, and test it, I can't really wait to see if you are pregnant or not." Ema said excitedly and passes Hazel the pregnancy test kit. Hazel stared at the packet in Ema’s hand like it might explode. “Oh my God…” She whispered, immediately glancing toward the hallway as if Alan would magically appear out of nowhere.Ema rolled her eyes dramatically and pushed the box into Hazel’s hands. “Stop panicking and go.”“But what if it’s negative?” Hazel asked nervously.“And what if it’s positive?”Ema countered instantly, already grinning. “That would make me the coolest aunt ever.”Hazel laughed despite her nervousness, clutching the packet tightly. “You’re more excited than me.”“Obviously.” Ema crossed her arms prou

{Third person's pov}3 months later...Hazel was standing in front of the mirror and looking at her very tiny baby bump, She caressed it softly with a soft smile lacing her face."Will I be a good mumma?" She asked herself, and then her attention went to Alan, who just came back from the office. He was standing near the door and admiring his wife, "You are back." Hazel said as she turned around to look in to his direction. Alan looked completely mesmerized for a moment. His gaze dropped instinctively to the tiny bump beneath her hand before slowly lifting back to her face, his expression softening in that quiet way that only Hazel ever got to see.“Yeah…” He murmured softly. “I’m back.”He closed the door behind him slowly, like he didn’t want to disturb the moment he had walked into.“You know…” A faint smile tugged at his lips as he loosened his tie.“I think that might be my favorite sight in the world now.” Hazel’s cheeks warmed instantly.Alan walked toward her without taking hi

{Third person's pov}It's been a week since they were at her parents' house, Alan had to postpone a lot of meetings, but anything for his wife obviously.Hazel was upstairs while Alan was sitting in the living room with her father. "Alan, You are getting a call." Hazel came out of the room with his mobile phone and suddenly her legs slipped on the stairs. There was just her yelling and everyone was shocked. "HAZEL!!!" Her father and Alan shouted at the same time as they saw her falling down the stairs and ran towards her. Everything happened too fast. One second Hazel was standing there with his phone in her hand and the next, she slipped.Alan’s entire body reacted before his mind could even process it. He sprinted toward the stairs, his heart stopping the moment he saw her hit the steps.By the time he reached her, Hazel was at the bottom of the staircase, visibly shaken and in pain. “Baby... baby, look at me.”Alan dropped to his knees beside her instantly, his hands trembling
