Olivia's POV It was almost time to leave. Today was the second day, and I dropped my last bag at the café. I went to school, and the day went on as usual, but the entire time, my mind was poking me, trying to make me reconsider my decisions. But I had made my mind up; I was leaving the next day.School came to a close, and Jaxon and I went to his sister's cafe for a hot cup of coffee. I had been quite anxious the entire day and even more so around André for the last few days. I tried my best not to make him suspect I was leaving soon. I tried my best to act normally around him, and he was oblivious to my plan the entire time.A coffee was brought, and Jaxon and I engaged in a friendly conversation."I guess tomorrow is the day," he said before taking his first sip of coffee. I wanted to answer but simply stirred my coffee blankly, watching the brown brew swirl into hypnotic patterns."If you're still intent on going, I can drop you off during school hours. There’ll be fewer eyes aro

André's POVFentris stood in the front of the hall and continued to blabber about the human influx in our pack. I couldn’t help but suspect that he had an unhealthy obsession with them."... I think that this is an opportunity to raise the prices of certain human goods to increase profit and income. This will greatly develop the pack economically."Fentris gazed at me, and I sighed in anger and stood up."I understand that the human population is rising, but nothing unfair will be done to them. If there is to be an increase in prices for goods, it will be a general increase. I will not allow economic segregation. You seem to forget that we use human goods as well. A price increase will also affect us.”Fentris was adamant and tried to sway the council.“Well, I think that it is about time that prices went up a little bit…”"No. Everything stays as it is unless there is a change in demand and supply. It ends there.”The hall fell silent, and I adjourned the meeting before anyone else co

André's POVPierre sat down beside me, and we began to make calls to inquire about Olivia's last whereabouts.I made a few calls, and soon, I saw the expression on Pierre’s face change."What is it? Have you got a lead?"Pierre set his phone down and nodded."Yes. It seems that when I left, she didn't go to school and went to a café across the street." I wanted to relax a bit, but I couldn't until we had found her and were sure that she was safe."Alright. Call the café and check if she is still there. I'll give you five minutes to do that.”He gulped a little and called the café for feedback while I called the head maid at home to know if Olivia was back yet.I called Doran and gave him extensive instructions."I need the pack borders closed…”"What is the problem?" Asked Dorian. "You sound frantic.""Olivia is missing."Doran was silent. I could tell that he was searching for what to say."I'll get it done immediately."My kitten had run away.I tried to push the thought away as my

Olivia's POV “What are you still standing there for? Don't you know that we need to get out of here immediately?”I looked at him sceptically. I still didn't trust him. There was no way he expected me to follow him.“Look, I can tell that you don't trust me, and that's perfectly fine. But didn't you notice how most of the men at the café were looking at you? Don't you think that's a little strange?”I looked at him in shock.“How did you know that they were looking at me?”He took a deep breath and looked around nervously as he tried to explain quickly.“I was in the café, and I saw everything that happened. It's a full moon, and it is dangerous for you to be walking around with your pheromones running wild.”I looked at him in confusion. Pheromones? What was he talking about? Did whatever he just said mean that I couldn't walk around on full moon nights anymore? I was nervous and scared, but the last thing I wanted was for what had happened with those men to recur. “My car is just

Olivia's POV I woke up early in the morning to the smell of food.“You look pretty in my sister's clothes. I dare say that they suit you more than they suit her.”I brushed his comment away with a smile, and we headed out and walked to the hospital. I felt a little safer this time as no one was staring at me with eyes full of lustful desires. For the first time since last night, I felt comfortable in my skin.We soon arrived at the hospital, and it seemed that Dr. Sean had been waiting for us all morning.“Olivia, Jonas, good morning. I have been expecting both of you. Please come in.”He ushered us into his office, and we took our seats, and he sat on his, that was, on the other side of the desk.“I have decided to increase the dosage and make a larger batch just for you. You will need to apply it for two weeks, thrice a day. We need to be sure that your pheromones are only active on full moon nights, and we also need to be sure that there are no triggers, and if there are any, you h
