Grace’s POV "What took him so long?" I glanced at the clock on the wall, which was now nine o'clock in the evening. An hour had passed, and there was no news of Jhon's return. I had asked him to come home on time specifically for today because today was our wedding anniversary. I didn't want us to miss it, even though I knew he would never care about our anniversary. Not long after, I heard the roar of a car engine outside. Without thinking, I immediately got up from my seat to welcome his return. However, my steps stopped when I reached the house's terrace. My gaze was drawn to a car in the yard where Jhon was with a woman. "Who is that woman?" My eyes narrowed slightly, and I instantly knew who the woman with Jhon was. I felt anger and tightness when I saw them kissing. It wasn't my first time seeing my husband making out with another woman. But it still hurt my heart to see him. He had broken my heart, and when I tried to put it back together, he would break it again and again.

Grace's POV "I thirst for you... I want you ...."The voice sounded heavy in my ears. I could feel his warm breath hitting my earlobe. Then the man kissed my lips greedily as if my lips were the fountain of life, and he wanted to gulp it all down. I kissed him back with all the pent-up passion that could have exploded.I felt my body floating. He picked me up and laid me down on the bed very carefully. We quickly stripped off each other's clothes. My breath caught as I looked at the man's muscular body, which seemed perfect. The man's figure filled my vision, his face radiating the fire of desire. That prime body with slightly tanned skin looked tense, and a burning desire flowed through me as I welcomed the man's desire. The man began to bring his body together with surprising speed, making me arch my back to maintain the sensation. I sighed as I savoured his exquisite play.He paused momentarily, only to kiss me again, crushing my lips passionately to bring our bodies together in t

Grace’s POV"Are you crazy?"I didn't understand this man's way of thinking. How could he not agree with me to keep what happened to us a secret? Does he want everyone to know what happened? No, he doesn't. I didn't want any of this to happen. The man, Chase, just looked at me with a faint smile that made me even more annoyed with him. He looked so calm like nothing had happened."Aren't you afraid of everyone finding out about our affair?" I asked again, and this time, I said the word 'cheating' because I thought we had slept together, and that would indicate that he and I had an illicit relationship.Chase shrugged his shoulders. "I don't care about the family's reputation or the cheap gossip that will spread and make them lose face."I couldn't believe he was saying such a thing. Then Chase continued his words again. "I don't even care what other people think of me."Oh, my goodness... how am I supposed to deal with all this? Even that guy didn't care about what happened to us. Tha

Grace POVI finally met Chase outside after his coercion on the phone earlier. I was forced to meet him again as my emotions were still unstable after the morning fight with Jhon.I've changed into something more casual. I didn't want to dress up just to meet that man, after all I didn't want him to think I was putting on makeup to get his attention. I was going to appear as I was in front of the most arrogant Mr. Harrington.I stepped carefully down the stairs, bobbing my head around, looking for Jhon, and breathed a sigh of relief that he was nowhere to be seen. After leaving the main door, I rushed out of the house and ordered an online taxi.I walked fifty meters from the house while waiting for my taxi to arrive.Sometime later, I arrived at the restaurant where we had met. The man said he was waiting for me here. I didn't expect him to be someone who had enough time to take care of such a trivial matter. I probably wouldn't have agreed to meet me if he hadn't threatened me.The
