Lilian and Aurora were able to escape the packhouse, but they could not easily flee from the Balkans because the borders were heavily guarded by the Gamma guards. Getting through would be difficult, and they would likely be caught by members of the Blue Moon Pack. They had no choice but to stay in the dense forest for a while and wait for the right time to cross the borders. "I wish you hadn't come here, dear. It's better to remain a slave rather than putting your life in danger," Aurora said, her voice filled with concern. "What will happen if they catch us?" she sighed. "Mom, I'm not afraid of them," Lilian responded. "Argos and Samantha are not easy to deal with," Aurora took a deep breath. "Samantha orchestrated everything for you to be kicked out of the packhouse. She accused you of murdering her child, but the fact is, she wasn't pregnant at all. And the worst, she hired a fake talisman to give a false prophecy regarding the downfall of the Blue Moon Pack. She used your b

Lilian took a sigh of relief when she realized they were already outside the Balkans. She was certain the wolves would not go after them, so they were safe for now. However, her thoughts drifted toward Morgan. She was certain it was him, but how did he know she was in the Balkans? The question lingered in her mind. "Where are we going, dear?" Aurora asked. "To Silverstone, Mom. I want you to meet my adoptive parents, and of course Liam. I'm sure he’d be happy to see you," Lilian replied. "By the way, the one who helped us earlier was indeed a strong wolf. It reminded me of Alpha Morgan. But it could not be him. He went missing a year ago, and everyone in the pack believed that he was dead." Lilian was just silent while waiting for her mom to say something more. She could not tell her yet that Morgan was alive and his neighbor in Silverstone.“Do you still remember him, dear?” Her mother’s question took her by surprise. “No, Mom,” she lied, though she knew it wasn’t true. “It

Morgan watched as the two wolves disappeared into the night, his jaw clenched. He knew Argos wouldn’t stop until he was dead. His half brother was ruthless, and if he had sent assassins this far, it meant the situation in the Balkans was worse than he had thought. He needed to act quickly, but there was still one thing holding him back—Lilian. He turned towards her window, his heart pounding. He had seen the way she looked at him earlier, full of hesitation and pain. The bond between them still existed, no matter how much she tried to deny it. But he knew, he hurt her so much that it was hard to forgive him.Meanwhile, inside Lilian’s room, she sat on the edge of her bed, gripping the fabric of her nightgown tightly. She had seen everything. The fight, the way Morgan had spared those wolves, and the look in his eyes when he let them go. It had the look of a true Alpha. Despite everything, she couldn’t deny that a part of her still admired him. But admiration wasn’t enough. She had suf

Lilian sat alone in a corner, her back pressed against the wall of her son’s bedroom. The room still smelled faintly of baby powder and warm milk, a scent that once brought her comfort—but now felt like a cruel reminder of what was missing. Her son.Her arms wrapped tightly around her knees as sobs wracked her body, sharp and unrelenting. Her cries were not just sounds—they were broken pieces of her heart spilling out, raw and aching. She leaned her head against the soft, stuffed elephant Liam always cuddled at night, its little ear damp with her tears. The silence in the room felt deafening. No sound of giggles. No tiny feet pattering across the floor. Just the chilling emptiness that screamed louder than anything else.Then—footsteps.Lilian flinched. The door creaked open with a suddenness that jolted her. Standing at the threshold was her mother, Aurora, her gray-streaked hair still tousled from sleep and her robe loosely tied around her waist. Her face, once calm with the softnes

Morgan stood up, his body tense as he listened carefully. Lilian's scent still hung in the damp forest air. His heartbeat sped up.If she was here, then it could only mean one thing—Liam... "Oh no!" he muttered. His heart even beat faster when he remembered his dream. Though unconfirmed, a powerful intuition linked the child to him.Slowly, he stepped forward, slipping between the trees like a shadow, following Lilian's scent until he found her.Lilian stood at the edge of the forest, her frame stiff, her gaze looking around as if she was searching for something—or someone. Her mother was beside her, barely keeping pace, her face lined with determination despite her exhaustion.Morgan hesitated for only a second before stepping into the open."Lilian," he called out."Alpha Morgan!" Aurora exclaimed. "Aurora, what happened? What brought you here?" he asked anxiously."Alpha..."Aurora was not able to finish what she wanted to say because Lilian interrupted. "It's none of his business
