The families of those who hurt me would meet their end.It was known to the people of Mistvale that the granddaughter of Terry Sims was untouchable.Due to my congenital heart disease, he reluctantly sent me abroad for medical treatment. After my surgery, I rushed back to his side for his birthday, thinking of giving him a surprise. However, I was mistaken for a gold digger by a carer and locked in the basement. “Of all the things you can do for your age, you throw yourself at men. Since your parents won’t restrain your behavior, I’ll have to

Drowning in agony, I shivered uncontrollably. I could not make a sound as even the slightest touch sent a jolt of pain through me.Rachel snickered in delight as the chemical acid burned me through and through. “You think you’re desirable because you’re young. Well, who will want you now?!” I let out a whimper, my consciousness barely hanging on. “Y-You… won’t get away with it…” Rachel grimaced. “Save me the tough talk. Do you think Mr. Sims will still like you now that you’ve become a monster?” She grabbed a rusty knife and headed in my direction. “I can’t stand your horny moans. Is this how you sound like in bed?” She crouched down and squeezed my throat. I opened my mouth from the asphyxiation to breathe in air. The next minute, a chilling blade cut into my mouth. Terry’s face fell. He ran through the flight itinerary I had sent him, verifying the date and time repeatedly. However, nothing appeared out of place. Our last interaction was this morning when I sent Terry a cute birthday emoji with the message “Happy Birthday”. Terry beamed with joy and love upon receiving the text message. Yet now, these blaring well-wishing words left him unsettled and on edge. Tensing his facial muscles, he called the housekeeper in charge of my care in Libestar. I watched in devastation as Terry clenched his fists. The gaping hole in my chest whistled in the wind, piercing me in pain. Suddenly, Terry jolted to his feet, and the guests were caught off guard. So was Rachel, as she stumbled ahead and tried to calm Terry down. “I’ll grab your medication, Mr. Sims.”

Rachel was baffled. “Mr. Sims, why—” Terry rose to his feet, his voice commanding attention. “What’s a birthday party without entertainment? “I prepared a little show for everyone.” Rachel was taken aback. She had no idea Terry had something else in store for the event. Thrilled, the guests chattered in anticipation of the show. “Mr. Sims has the power and connections to hire a singer.” “He can do a lot better than a singer. Mr. Sims can even hire a movie star.” The door to the event hall burst open with a kick, and a security team of a dozen gathered around Terry. Amid the guests’ confusion, Rachel let out a scream. “Hey! What are you doing? Do you know who I am? “The audacity of you! Punish them, Mr. Sims!” Terry stood still and observed the commotion, paying no heed to Rachel’s struggles. My body was transported from behind her. Getting the message, Rachel looked at Terry, disgruntled. “Are you hurting me because of the vixen, Mr. Sims? “I’ve served y
