“My Duchess,” Duke stands and waits for Ada’s hand.“My Duke,” Emma whines.“EMMA!” Ingrid growls at her. “You are embarrassing yourself. Come on, we have things to do.”“I love you,” Bär tells Ingrid, pulling her into a kiss.“I can see that,” Ingrid tells him before leading Emma away.“I should help Mom and Emma,” Ada tells Duke.“No,” Bär tells her. “Go spend time with your mate.”Stag- Be nice, gentlemanly, and affectionate.Duke- Right. Show her I want her.Stag- Helps if you actually want her. By the way, her wolf, Vixen, is not responding to me. Maybe the wolf knows why our mate is so off.Duke- She is not responding to you at all?Stag- Not since the haze. Duke and Ada walk out to the garden, near the greenhouse.“Stag is having issues contacting Vixen, everything okay?” Duke asks.“She is sad like me. We both are hurt by what you did last night,” Ada lies and tries to contact Vixen, who is stubbornly not responding.“I wasn’t thinking clearly, Ada. I’m sorry. I see

Ada sits beside Duke and holds his hand. She has the pineapple juice in her pocket. She can either throw it away or dose him again while here. She looks like she is in intense thought as Lewis comes out. “He is awake,” Lewis announces. “Thank you, goddess,” Bär hugs Lewis. “Yes, we can all be grateful. They still don’t know why he collapsed, but boys, you may need to take over sooner than expected. I want to keep him stress free and I can’t do that as long as he is King.” “We will take care of whatever we need to,” Duke assures Lewis. “Good, you all can come see him,” Lewis lets them in. “I should call the Princess,” Ingrid tells Lewis. “She is on Facetime with him right now. After mine, hers was the next face he wanted to see,” Lewis chuckles.Buck- Can we talk about how hot our mate is?Bär- We can, but we are going to be showing our daughters what their mother enjoys. Don’t even get me talking about my uncles.Buck- I know. I am personally at full attention.B

After a few hours of going back and forth between Caleb and Ada, Ada is ready to be discharged.“Thank you,” Ada tells the Doctor.“Mom is landing and will be at the Palace in about 30 minutes. Do you want to freshen up before you meet her?” Duke asks as he pushes Ada in a wheelchair.“No time,” Ari interrupts. “Your text messages must be delayed. We landed over 45 minutes ago.”“Mom, you remember Ada,” Duke motions toward Ada.“Hello, my dear. I’m so sorry that you too were attacked. I agree with Ingrid, the girls were targets. I assume had Ingrid eaten the jam it would have done it to her too. I have spoken to the staff already, they all state they didn’t do it. I believe all of them. A few admitted they would have poisoned Emma, but not you. Not after what my son has done to you.”Duke pales as his mother looks up at him.“Mom,” Duke holds up his hands.“He has apologized,” Ada interrupts. “He is trying to make amends.”“He had better,” Ari sounds deadly as she stares at

Ingrid and Ari make their way to the Palace. Bär is pacing the foyer.“Baby,” Bär sighs, scenting Ingrid. He jogs over and pulls her into his arms.“We were apart more yesterday and this morning,” Ingrid laughs returning his hug.“Yeah, but you weren’t alone with my mother,” Bär tells her.“I heard that,” Ari says, shaking her head. “I didn’t scare her off.”“What did you two talk about?” Bär asks, not releasing Ingrid.“I think you will like the result of my conversation,” Ingrid cups his face and pulls him into a kiss. “We need to have dinner with everyone and then we will have the whole night to ourselves. I’m telling the girls tonight they need to figure it out themselves.”Bär smirks and holds her by the hips.“What did my crazy Mother say?”“I still heard that,” Ari yells from the first landing of the stairs.“All the right things,” Ingrid stands on her toes to reach his lips. Bär moves his hands under her ass and lifts her by her thighs, wrapping her legs around him.“Let

Buck and Liesel are in the woods playing, mating, and of course, running.Buck- I love your tail.Liesel- You love my tail raised.Buck- Yes, but I also like it swinging in front of me. Liesel swishes her tail in front of him. Buck nips at it before tackling her and mating with her again.Bär- They are asleep.Ingrid- We can take control finally. The moon is high when Bär and Ingrid set their human eyes on it.“It’ late,” Bär comments. His eye catches his name on her neck. “That is the most beautiful sight.”Ingrid looks up and sees her name on his collar and smile. The moon gives it a shimmer look.“I agree,” she teases.“I love you,” Bär tells her.Ingrid faces him and presses her naked body against his.“I love you, too,” she says, looking him in the eye.“I can see that,” Bär teases her before kissing her lips.Ariella- BÄR!Bär- Mom, how did you break through?Ariella- It’s Caleb. They are taking him to the hospital. His not responding. “Caleb is having another attack
