Lahat ng Kabanata ng THE REJECTED OMEGA IS THE LYCAN KING’S MATE: Kabanata 21 - Kabanata 30

Kanyon stayed by Jessica's bedside, holding her hand while Doctor Peterson delivered the awful news to him. "Your majesty. We cannot find the baby's heartbeat on any of the monitors." The doctor gave the King a few moments to catch his breath. "Are you saying what I think you're saying?" "Yes King Kanyon. The young lady has suffered a miscarriage." The doctor bowed his head, not only in respect for his king, but also because the anger and sadness radiating from King Kanyon was choking him from the inside out. "How will we treat this? She's still in a coma." Kanyon's chest ached. He hated death. Death took everything important away from him. Now he worried for the mother. Would she be the one to die next? "We need to conduct a c-section to extract the fetus," the doctor explained. "I just hope the she-wolf's body is strong enough to survive the surgery." "This is all too much for one girl to endure," Kanyon snapped. "Is it possible for us to wait and see if she'll wake

For days, King Kanyon had been running in beast form, killing every animal he saw in sight. He was so angry with the Moon Goddess for taking yet another thing that he had come to love away from him. He wanted the pup to survive so he could grow up and call him papa, and he wanted to train him so that maybe one day he could take over the throne. 'I think we should go back now,' Sinbad stated in a worrying tone. 'We've been at it for almost a week. I'm tired and you need a shower.' Kanyon said nothing as Sinbad slowed down. He let his beast take him back to the castle. He sneaked into his bedroom without raising any alarms and then enjoyed a lengthy, hot shower. While he was slipping a T-shirt over his head, Cameron's voice thundered in his brain. 'Kanyon, where are you?' 'No need to shout! I'm at the castle. What is it?' Kanyon answered, frustrated. He wanted to sleep off his journey and then deal with problems the next day. 'It's the girl, she's awake!' Kanyon's face wen

"How is she?" Cameron asked Kanyon. It had been three days since Jessica woke from her coma. Three days since she learned of her son's death and three days since she learned that she was now a barren wolfless she-wolf. "I don't know. I'm still waiting for the servant to tell me how's she doing." Kanyon's relentless pacing made it seem like he was about to drill a hole into the floor. As the door swung open, the servant in charge of delivering food and supplies to Jessica walked into the sitting area. "King Kanyon," she fell to her knees in submission. "Master Cameron," she uttered before turning her attention back to the king. "How is she?" Kanyon barked as he strolled over to the servant. "She still has not eaten anything, your majesty," the woman let out. "She's not talking, moving. Her only reason for going to the bathroom is to use the toilet; she hasn't showered at all since being moved to the suite.” "Dammit," Kanyon grunted. "You're dismissed." The servant rose

Luna Magda's heart raced, feeling like it could burst at any moment. Even her wolf, Delilah, was in a state of disbelief. No son of theirs will ever do such a thing as reclaim an omega peasant. She calmed down a bit, maybe Cory was just reacting to the mate bond they once shared. Perhaps his wolf just missed Jessica and was reminiscing on their time together. Because Jessica was a wolfless omega, so this led the Luna to think that both the she-wolf and her unborn child were no longer alive. There was no way in hell she could survive in the woods alone for two weeks much less three months. "Cory, I forbid you from saying such foolishness. That omega slut is dead, Adam and Gary made sure of that," Magda snarled. She felt a fierce anger inside her, knowing there was a slight chance that the little bitch might still be alive. Cockroaches were hard things to kill. "Believe what you must do to help you sleep better at nights," Cory sighed, getting up from the chair and kissing his moth

Jessica wondered to herself while drying her body, "Did the King actually lick my chin?" She was careful with her c-section scar. The medication she took reduced her physical pain, too bad it couldn't alleviate the pain in her heart. She ensured she kept the wound dry while washing herself to promote faster healing without complications. Jessica wrapped a towel over her hair and then another around her body. She came out of the bathroom and made her way to the bedroom. She almost jumped out of her skin when she saw the tall woman standing by the bed. "Goddess!" The woman approached her gracefully. "Forgive me, madam. I didn't mean to startle you." Jessica gulped, resting a hand on her chest. "It's OK, I just wasn't expecting to see someone in here." "So the King didn't tell you he was sending up some clothes from storage?" The woman gestured to the dresses on the bed. "Yes, yes!" Jessica giggled. "He did." The woman laughed, stretching her palm for a handshake. "I'm Lucy
