Lahat ng Kabanata ng Entangled in the Ceo's Arms : Kabanata 31 - Kabanata 40

Logan POV. I was exasperated when Miley ushered me out of her office; she didn't believe a word I said. Even if she did know, it was gutsy of me to say it. Then there was the confession that remained lodged in my throat-not what she wanted to hear, and I had sworn to myself to bury these feelings, so I wouldn't have divulged them anyway. As my door swung open, despite not doing anything noteworthy (though work was piled high), I was set to berate whoever dared to interrupt me, but it was her.Miley: Ready to go? -my expression must have given me away, I mean I'm thrilled she's here, but did we have plans? Impossible, I would never have forgotten. "Ready for what? "She smirked as she surveyed my pose. Had she noticed my inactivity?Miley: The twins are done with school and they've asked to see you. If you don't wish to or can't make it, I'|| let them know. -I sprang up immediately; of course, I wanted to see them. Now I felt like | could do it, and I missed them too, but

Miley POV I've been finalizing pending tasks - I haven't taken my eyes off the computer screen since I arrived at the office. The stress is getting to me, considering the sheer volume of work, but I was the one who assured everyone I could handle it - all for Aiden's recovery. His convalescence seems to be progressing well, according to what Nathan told me. He also assured me that once Aiden is completely healed, they'll come for a visit. I'm eager to see them, to embrace Aiden. I have no intention of telling him about Dave; it's been many days since he left, and I prefer things as they are now.Logan: Enough work, it's time to eat. - In a recent turn of events over these past few days, I managed to get a sitter. I can't believe Kiara and Jaden did this to me. After Logan caught me feeling unwell due to poor nutrition and stress, about a week ago he became my sitter, and when I tried to object, Kiara and Jaden sided with him. They insisted I should let their dad take

Logan POV. After a day full of movement and play, Jaden and Kiara fell asleep earlier than usual; understandable since they were exhausted, and I had kept my word to put them to bed this time, but I needed to leave. Miley: Thanks for today. I was planning on just staying home, but you brought some fun into the mix. "I'm glad you and the twins liked it, and about yesterday.." Miley: Oh, speaking of which, I looked over the documents you left. - didn't mean those documents, but Miley seems uninterested in discussing the other matter. "And?" Miley: I didn't sign them. -Does she mean to refuse? Miley: It's not that I want to stop you from doing this for them, I just prefer that you handle it. "'So, you want me to manage it?" Miley: Who better? You're their father and one of the most successful businessmen around. No one else can look after their interests like you. -l have no argument there, but I thought she'd be pleased to manage it herself. Miley: If I have to attend

Logan: She's not dead-I hope! Then I could keep believing that... Forget it.. She left Myron and Imani because she found her soulmate, and he's not ready for kids yet. "What did you say?" "How could she do something like that? She's everything to Myron. But I'm worried about Logan's reaction. I know how volatile he can be." "Logan, what have you done?" Logan: Nothing that I wanted to do. I let her go-said she was leaving the country. I told her she'd regret it if she came back. I informed Imani, he still doesn't know what to tell Myron; he can't stop asking about her. "At least he's calmed down now." "| don't understand-how can they do that? If my soulmate appeared and told me I had to leave my children for him, he'd get more than a slap in the face." Logan: Rejecting Someone you love isn't easy- apparently, the love is so strong it overrides everything else. "But nothing can replace my love for my children. Secondly, that kind of love doesn't interest me. La

Miley POV I'm sitting on my bed after waking from the strangest dream I've ever had, with it weaving all my worries and doubts. But why, instead of explaining to Logan what's going on, did I act that way? I kissed him! And not just that, I let everything else happen. It was so real, or at least that's how it felt. How am I supposed to look at him now? This isn't helping in the slightest, and after trying to forget everything for just one day, this happens; definitely can't afford to stopletting my guard down again. Kiara: Mummy, Dad's here and Myron is with him. "I'Il be right down, sweetheart." Kiara: Dad's making breakfast. -She was out as quick as she came in, brimming with joy. I can't just tell her we're not going. I got ready quickly and went downstairs; breakfast smelled amazing. "I thought we were going to eat out." Logan: Me too, but these three were hungry. Will you join us? -He looked at me, and I, out of sheer embarrassment, looked away. "Yes, tha
