Allison P.O.V. “Babe, Talia had to go back to the hospital with Neptune. They’ll update us whenever they have answers, but you won’t believe what Neptune just mindlinked me.” I say walking into Blake’s office. Talia P.O.V. My world spun. Everything seemed unreal, but at the same time more real than it had in a long time. I must admit that I had not visited my father as much as I could or maybe should have after he surrendered himself on the battle night. I just went along with my life and tried to tell myself nothing had changed. Everything had changed. He asked us to bind the side of him Caitlyn had thrust upon him. We learned he never wanted it, and he fought it every day, trying to protect us children, Tabs and I in particular. I didn’t know what to do with that information, so I just closed it down and locked it away. Neptune tried to talk to me, ask me if I wanted to visit my father, but I shut him down every time.
