Allison P.O.V.

The Omega comes down and says Ruby’s room is ready, so Blake, Athena and I follow her upstairs. Athena is not happy about being separated from Caspian, but she soon settles down in her daddy’s arms.

“She is seriously so precious!” Ruby gushes, smiling at our daughter. I think Athena just gained another aunt to spoil her. Not that she needs the spoiling, but it’s always nice to have adults to support and look after one’s children.

“She is a trooper for sure. With everything that happened with her birth mother, and Tabatha having to fight to get out of Bane’s rogue camp. We’re very proud of her! And yes, I know she may not remember, but that is a lot of stress for such a little baby.” Ruby nods, her expression serious.

    Allison P.O.V. “Babe, Talia had to go back to the hospital with Neptune. They’ll update us whenever they have answers, but you won’t believe what Neptune just mindlinked me.” I say walking into Blake’s office. He is on the phone with someone, so I quietly sit in his lap, as he kisses my cheek to indicate he heard me coming in. “No, I understand.     Damien P.O.V.The girl has gone unconscious in my arms as we rush to the hospital. What does this all mean? Why was she guided to our pack and where did she come from? Tabby’s story about her camp, and Allie’s insistence on her being a wolf, makes me think she comes from a friendly rogue camp, and she might not know she is a wolf yet. Not all rogue parents share the secret with their children before they are late teenagers. If she had wandered into Silver Dawn, Luna Ruby would have pleaded mercy for her, and I would have backed her, but Alpha Nicholas would have told us to kill her and find the remains of the camp and make sure all other possible rogues or humans were dead as well. He has a hate for rogues as they killed his mother, and I understand where he is coming from, but somehow he has lost perspective along the way and sees all rogues as evil monsters. ‘Beta, may I take Caspian out for a walk around the packgrounds? The day is so lovely, and he seems a bit bored to be honest.

    Tabatha P.O.V.Laying on the ground I felt like I had no means to throw off the angry she-wolf raining punches down on me with her claws. Not until someone throws her off of me. Allie. Of course!     Allison P.O.V.As soon as Alpha Nicholas, his Luna and that ex-bitch moved towards Tabatha and Damien, I started to sidle their way as well. I already warned them, warned her. Stay the fuck away from my Beta’s or suffer the consequences. I mindlinked Blake to come back from where he was talking to some of the Council members, feeling the tension in the air. On Tabatha’s other side I see Talia move in as well as she probably feels the same way as me. She stops for a second, her expression going wide, then slightly offended, hurt and accepting. I wonder what all that was about, but I don’t get the chance to think about it as the ex screams bloody murder and jumps Tabatha. Her words however let me know what Talia must have learned from her sister a moment before. Damien and Tabatha marked each other. My feelings mirror Talia’s - I’m kinda hurt they would hide it from us, but I also understand where my friend is coming from. This is her second marking, and she probably wanted to enjoy it
