Joel’s POVWe returned to Stonehenge and followed the instructions that Patricia gave before she left the other day. She said as long as we drip Garrett’s blood on the grass, we should be able to enter again, she just warned us to do it at night when there was less likely to be tourists. When we made our way back down the stairs and to the podium, there was a different set of instructions. The moondrop flower is what you seek next. It only grows once every 100 years, will you be the lucky one to find it? This is a necessary ingredient for the poultice.“So we should probably wait to make the poultice.” I told the others.“Yeah, I would say so.” Brent retorted.“Where do we even find this flower? This is some bull!” Colten exclaimed. I had to agree. What was the point of these trials?“Once every 100 years? That’s some more bull!” Brent chipped in.“Did Lucifer say how many trials there were?” I asked Brent but he just shook his head no.“What if this is just a wild goose chase?” Damie

Brent’s POV“Now let the real trials begin.” That’s what this stupid podium said. You’ve gotta be kidding me.“Call the others,” Joel said but as he finished his sentence the hole began to close up from above us. I dashed forward to try to clear it but no luck.“No reception.” Garrett said, waving his phone around.“Welcome!” A voice boomed from all around us. I turned left and right but couldn’t see anything new.“I’m your host, Gabriel! If you can complete these trials, I will grant one wish. You can wish for anything! I just ask that you don’t destroy the Earth, that may be annoying to deal with. Now then!” The voice cut off and a glowing man in a white robe walked forward out of thin air. He was at least 8 feet tall with long blonde hair, huge muscles and sharp features.“Who’s ready?” He said with a huge smile on his face.“What’s with those fake trials?” Joel growled.“Oh that? That was just because it’s funny. Who doesn’t want to visit their ex? The flower thing though was just

Rose’s POVToday is my first day starting a new school and I have to admit, I’m kind of nervous. I missed my boyfriend Garrett, well ex boyfriend as of the end of junior year. We were considering long distance but decided that it wouldn’t be a happy relationship for either of us. We agreed that we’d try to go to the same college if we were both single when the school year ended.“Bye mama, bye daddy!” I called out to my parents before striding out the door. My stepparents loved me dearly, my real parents died in a car accident when I was five years old, so I was old enough to know that I was a hybrid. I missed them everyday but I’m thankful for my stepparents adopting me from the orphanage. The school was a bit of a walk, but I wanted to explore a bit of the woods, so I decided that I’d much prefer walking over driving.“Rose?!” I heard a deep voice call out to me. I looked back and saw a tall brown-haired boy with a lip piercing and gorgeous blue eyes call out to me.“Excuse me, have

10 YEARS LATEREpilogue:Rose’s POV“Maddie! Jarren! What did I say about running in the house?” I yelled out, frustrated with these crazy kids.“You said not to run, mama.” Maddie recited obediently.“Suck up!” Jarren said.“Jarren! Don’t be rude!” I chastised. At least he had the decency to look apologetic.“They’re only kids baby, don’t forget that.” Damien kissed my cheek.Max came up on my other side and rubbed my tummy, “plus you’ll need to learn patience with this new set of kids.” He chuckled.“Lord, why does it have to be triplets? I thought we would stop at 5 kids and instead I have a whole house full of them!” I rubbed my face, frustrated.“Shh, it’s okay baby.” Joel whispered in my ear, licking it lightly.Colten came up from behind me and threw me over his shoulder, laughing while he ran with me. “Give it a month and I’ll be bigger than a whale!” I exclaimed while slapping his ass.“No matter what, you’ll always be the sexiest woman I’ve ever seen,” he said as he placed m
