Rose’s POVI looked at my surroundings, unable to answer Sebastian.“Let’s calm down and talk about this somewhere more private.” Max coaxed Sebastian.“Alright people, party is over, time to head home! Thank you for stopping in to meet your new luna!” Joel hollered out to all the guests.Max led me out of the ballroom and we followed Sebastian up the stairs into his study. He let out a heavy sigh and plopped down on his chair, rubbing his forehead.“Can someone please explain to me what’s going on?” He said after a few minutes, after my mates, Sophie, Mason and Kat entered the room.“When the lights went out I was grabbed by someone, he called me a fallen. He knows what I am. What are we supposed to do?” I blurted out as quickly as I could. Damien went up behind me and put his hands protectively on my hips. “Shhh it’s alright now baby.” He whispered.Max then chimed in, “the worst part was everyone else was frozen except me. I suspect it’s because I have demon blood.” I completely f

Rose’s POVWe just finished shopping for our graduation dresses. I went with a simple sky blue dress with a hem that reaches mid-calf while Sophie went with a bright pink off the shoulder slip that reaches above the knees. As we left I looked back at the coffee shop where we came across Garrett a few days ago. We ended up exchanging numbers and have been chatting sporadically. He still hadn’t decided which university he wanted to go to but the university of Oregon is appealing apparently. He texted me last night about meeting my mates. I have mixed feelings about whether to have them meet or not. I’m concerned that my guys will compare themselves to him when there’s no reason to. So far, I have evaded the question but I’m not sure if he’ll keep asking or not.“What’s on your mind girly?” Sophie asked me.“I was thinking about Garrett, we have been texting and he wants to meet my mates.” I tell her.She gives me a pointed look. “If there’s nothing to worry about then why not let them m

“Who was that?” Joel asked me. I just got off the phone with Max.“That was the others. Apparently, there was a bounty on Rose for $100 billion for safe capture. They’re following a lead there and will let us know when they get more information.”“Damn it!” He yelled out. We realized shortly after we lost touch with Rose that Sophie was also missing. We know she went shopping with Rose and thought she went to see Sebastian after, but he hadn’t heard from her. She was also unavailable through the mindlink. So now we’re here in Texas looking for Rose’s ex’s place. Currently we are sitting at a coffee shop and going through our list of apartments.“There’s only one left to go check, it’s right around the corner from here.” I told Joel. The search hadn’t been fruitful so far. The first had a crackhead who offered us blowjobs in exchange for money, the one after had an old lady, the other two were families which made those a bust, so now we’re down to the final apartment. After paying for

Joel’s POVWe just got the call from the others that the bounty for Rose has already been claimed.“I guess we need to go to Vegas.” Colten said. Yeah, duh Sherlock.“So are we driving or flying? Garrett asked.“WE are flying, I don’t know what you’re going to do.” I tell him.“That’s some bull. You need all the help you can get.” Garrett spat.“We have help, Sebastian, the vampire king, is going to meet us there. After all his girlfriend, who is my sister, was also taken.” Colten argued.“Stop! Ok you can come but don’t try any funny business. I’m still not convinced you have nothing to do with her disappearance.” I tell him pointedly.“For the last time, why would I give her to someone else? At least with you guys she was happy. If she can’t be with me I’d rather she be with you.” Garrett exclaimed. We waited for Garrett to pack his belongings so we could drive to the airport. His brothers weren’t happy but he’s a grown ass man so they couldn’t stop him.“So how do we find her when

Colten’s POVThese idiots really messed up this time.We just met up at the hotel room and Brent finished relaying what happened tonight.“So she just walked away?” Joel asked. Fair question. They must’ve really pissed her off.“Yes. She walked in right when this stripper’s tits were in my face. She didn’t even let me explain why.” Brent said exasperatedly.“I almost don’t blame her. That looks wrong, regardless of the situation. Imagine if the situation were reversed. Would you want to stop to listen?” Garrett said. I didn’t like the dude but he had a point.“I can’t believe we stumbled upon her by accident and the situation got even worse!” Max said.“What if it wasn’t an accident?” I said. The guys all looked at me confused. “What I’m saying is what if Asmodeus planned to take her there knowing how bad it would look. Why else would he have been there with her?”“You may be right.” Sebastian agreed.“What are the chances of finding her in a strip club? Almost nonexistent. It had to
