Lahat ng Kabanata ng The Biker's Claim: Kabanata 141 - Kabanata 150

Hera POV I sit behind my desk, staring at the papers scattered in front of me, but my mind is not on them. I can't help but think about Finn. He has been too quiet lately, like a snake slithering through the grass, waiting for the right moment to strike.Does this have something to do with the fallout he had with Mason, his brother? But that's not right, Finn doesn't even give a damn about Mason. I mean, hasn't he been plotting to have him silenced? He wouldn't feel anything that Mason discovered that he has been lying all along. Maybe he could feel frustrated that he doesn't have mason eating at the palm of his hand. His aim was to use Mason to deal with me so with Mason discovering his lies,he has to find something else to keep me on my toes.Mason and I came to a decision of not seeing each other after that night. We figured out that it's best if Finn thinks that we are still at odds. It's a game we are playing,a dangerous one but it has to be done if we want to silence Finn once

Zero POVI watch Hera’s bike disappear from the basement, the roar of her engine fading into the Chicago skyline. My jaw clenches as I shake my head.“ Damn that woman! She is so stubborn!” I curse under my breath.I told her to stay away from Finn and let us do the digging, but does she listen? Of course not. She has got that fire in her, the kind that makes her unstoppable but also reckless as hell.Sometimes, I feel like that is what makes Mason so enamoured by her charms. To be honest, I am worried about her, more than I’d ever admit out loud. She is family and Finn is not just dangerous–he is a snake, always slithering out of reach, always one step ahead. I don't want anything happening to her but I know her well, she won't stop once she has set her eyes on something. This time, Finn is gonna have it hard.Sometimes it makes me wonder, after hiding all these years, concealing who he really is, why is he making moves now?I check my phone and realize that I am getting late. Finn

Zero POV After leaving Hera's office,I ride straight to the clubhouse. After the plans we made and what I am about to get myself into,I have to stay away from Shadow Riders in the meantime and that's why I am headed there, to ask for a some time off.I honestly don't know what believable excuse I am gonna throw their way but either way,I have to do it. It doesn't take long to park outside the clubhouse. My eyes take in the familiar building and scenery that has been our home for years. Now, someone is threatening to rip this off our hands and I'll be damned if I let him do that. I know what I am about to do is considered betrayal but I have to do it,for this clubhouse and the people who I consider my family. I won't allow Finn to tear everything we have built and bled for apart. I won't let him harm my family. My boots are heavy on the gravel as I make my way to the clubhouse door. I pull open the heavy doors and the sound of laughter and music reaches my ears. I smile to myself as I

Zero POV Chloe's lips crash against mine, fierce and desperate. It's like she has been holding it in for too long. My hands find her waist and I pull her closer. For a moment, the world disappears. It’s just her, me, and the heat between us. I have wanted this for so long but I have kept my distance, knowing she’s got her walls up. But now, with her pressed against me, all those walls feel like they’re crumbling. I know it has been a rough year for her and she deserves a distraction. We have a connection and I can feel that it is mutual.I run my hand along her jaw and pull her bottom lip between my teeth. I can taste her desire. I run my tongue along her lip, savouring the sweetness. Her hands tangle in my hair as she presses her body harder against mine. A moan slips past her lips and I grunt in response.Just as immediately she crashed into me, she pulls away, her eyes searching mine. That inkling that Hera told her about my plan comes back but I push it away, offering her a grin.

Zero POVThe morning sun cuts through the morning clouds as I ride back into the city. The rumble of my bike and the previous night a constant reminder why I am doing this, why I am taking this risk.I have had moments since yesterday when I stopped to question myself, is it worth it? Last night gave me the definite answer to that. It's worth every single effort and sacrifice I am making. She is worth it.Chloe’s kisses and her moans from last night linger in my mind, but I shove them down. I can’t afford to be distracted, not today. Not when I am about to walk into the lion’s den. Finn is already waiting for me at our agreed meet up point.Judging from the location he sent, I can tell it's at his new strip club. It's the same place Hera was scoping out yesterday. I can't help but scoff at how ironic everything is. Finn is playing his game right under our noses. He is thinking he is untouchable, that he will outsmart everyone else.My hands grip the handlebars tighter. If that's wha
