Moreover, Emily also had no logical reason to tell Amber. There was no way she could explain the problem she had just experienced. Additionally, the issue started with her own son, Zack. Surely, that reason would be easily rejected outright. The matter of Connie and her friends locking her up in the warehouse would also not be an effective reason and certainly would not be acceptable to Amber. Now, Emily could only surrender to Amber's insults and curses, even though her heart wanted to rebel because it seemed like all the blame was on her.Emily was not given the opportunity to defend herself at all. However, she had received this kind of treatment many times throughout her life, so she felt that she had made peace with people's attitudes towards her. Finally, Zack and his friends arrived, finding Emily still caught in the burdensome routine. They noticed the anxious expression on her face and sensed that something was wrong. Zack approached Emily, trying to find out what was really happening. "I have to finish all this housework right away!" Emily exclaimed in a hurry. After that, the atmosphere fell silent for a moment, and Zack felt the weight on his shoulders grow heavier. He knew he had to make a decision about how to handle his friends' arrival while also addressing his feelings for Emily. "So, what now?" Marko asked, seeking clarification. "Yeah, come over!" Zack said, forcing the words out. Zack didn’t feel fully prepared, but he knew that rejecting them would only increase the tension. With that decision, he hoped to confront his feelings and perhaps gain the support he needed. His openness lifted a weight from his shoulders, as if the burden he carried had become slightly lighter. Marko, ever the loyal friend, nodded in agreement, ready to provide any support Zack needed in facing his feelings. With every word exchanged, the bond between them str
