Lahat ng Kabanata ng Mr. Edward's Substitute Bride : Kabanata 41 - Kabanata 50

"Ooh my goodness, Mr Williams, why of all the places you could have gone to after getting drunk, you chose here? What if I hadn't decided to move in here today?" Amelia asked Edward as she helped him inside before leading him to the sofa, where he sat down."Well, that's because you are the only one that came to my mind, wifey," Edward said to Amelia with a drunken tone."I mean, wifey, do you know for how long I have been thinking about you? Right from the first day I came to pick you up from your house, I haven't been able to get you off my mind. If I didn't treat you well right from the beginning, it's because I was angry because my mother was forcing me into doing something that I didn't want to do, and that's exactly what she's still trying to do now. I know you are still angry at me for how I treated you back then, but please promise me that you won't leave again no matter what happens," Edward said to Amelia with a drunken tone as he grabbed her hand.Amelia, on the other hand,

A car could be seen pulling over just some distance away from the place where the competition was taking place. Once the car pulled over, Amelia, who was sitting in the passenger seat, quickly checked the time on her phone only to see that there were five minutes remaining before the competition begins.Heaving a sigh of relief, she turned her gaze towards Edward, who was on the passenger side."Mr Williams, thank you so much for helping me once again. I really don't know how to thank you enough. I know that I still owe you a meal, and believe me, I'm going to find one way or another to pay you back for helping me this morning also," Amelia said to Edward."Well, I don't think that is necessary; after all, aside from buying me a meal, there are many other ways you can pay me back. For example, you can give me a goodbye kiss; I won't reject it, and mind you that we didn't even get the chance to kiss on the way we got married," Edward said to Amelia, who immediately furrowed her brows a

When Amelia was done with her make-up, she was surprised to see that none of the models who had left earlier had returned, and the noise that was coming from outside hadn't also stopped; instead, it had even gotten louder.Sighing heavily, she arranged her makeup kits inside her handbag before heading outside to see why the other models hadn't returned yet and what was also the cause of the commotion outside.Getting outside, Amelia was surprised to see many reporters surrounding a man whose face she couldn't see because of the crowd around him, including the reporters. Not knowing what was going on, Amelia walked towards Sandra, hoping she would explain to her what exactly was going on."Hey, what's with all this commotion?" Amelia asked Sandra as she got closer to her."Well, the guest model has just arrived, and it seems like the reporters and his fans learnt that he will be showing up this morning, so they came ahead of him to welcome him and to also get his autograph," Sandra sai

After some minutes, the staff who had left to call some of her colleagues returned back accompanied by three other staff, and with that, they began searching the bags of all the models in the dressing room. After searching the bags of some of the models in which they didn't find the necklace, it finally got to Amelia's turn, and with that, she nonchalantly handed her bag to the staff who wanted to search it. Meanwhile, Mira, on seeing that Amelia's bag was about to be searched, couldn't help but grin ear to ear as if she was already sure that the necklace would be found in Amelia's bag. Some of the models, on seeing the reassuring look on Mira's face, were immediately convinced that the necklace would be found in Amelia's bag, and to get on Mira's good side, some of them secretly took their phones and started filming the scene, as they knew that if they managed to get the video of where the necklace Amelia denied stealing was found in her bag and then give it to Mira, they would sure

"Well actually, I want us to get back together," Brian said to Amelia after some minutes of silence."What?" Amelia asked him as she immediately choked on her food.____________________________"Hey, take it easy, please," Brian said to Amelia as he quickly grabbed the cup of water on the table and handed it to Amelia, and with that, Amelia took it from him and immediately gulped it down."Thank you so much. "I'm sorry about that, by the way," Amelia said to him after gulping the water down."Come on, Amelia, there's no need to apologise; normally I'm the one who should be apologising to you. I shouldn't have brought up the issue while we were still eating," Brian said to Amelia apologetically."That's okay. What were you saying, by the way?" Amelia asked Brian as she began eating her food once again."Are you sure we shouldn't wait until we are done eating?" Brian asked Amelia."There's no need for that; you can say whatever you want to say while we are still eating. I won't choke on
