Blue's povAs I sat at the breakfast table, I couldn’t help but steal glances at Damian. He was so focusedon pouring honey onto Nora's pancakes and I found myself completely mesmerized by him. Despite the dark circles under his eyes, the result of weeks of relentless work, he still looked breathtaking.I had been so blinded by hate for so long that it was only recently that I started to notice how incredibly handsome he truly was. His dark hair was tousled, accentuating his perfectly chiselled jawline. Those almond-shaped hazel eyes of his, framed by long lashes, had an intensity that made my heart race. I felt a strange thrill every time our gazes met, only to quickly look away, embarrassed that I had been staring. How had I never seen it before? There was something magnetic about him that pulledme in, despite my better judgment. As he drizzled honey from the jug, the sticky liquid glistening in the morning light, I felt a rush of heat wash over me. My thoughts spiralled into a ter

Damian's pov I stormed into my study, slamming the door behind me, the sound echoing in the otherwise quiet room. I was pissed, though I couldn’t quite pinpoint why. Watching Blue and Alex together had struck a nerve. It wasn’t the first time, but something about their interaction today felt particularly infuriating. I tried to focus on the work in front of me, but my mind kept drifting back to Alex caressing Blue’s face. That fucking slut. Minutes passed, and just as I thought I could drown myself in my tasks, Alex waltzed in with that infuriating, smug expression of his. “Thought you were meant to take a break from work?” He said, sarcasm dripping from his voice as he plopped down on my couch. I shot back, unable to hold back my irritation. “If you have so much time on your hands, why don’t you go look for your mother?” The coldness in my voice was evident, but I didn’t care. “Ouch, man, that hurt,” Alex said, stepping closer, that damn smirk still pl

3rd point of viewBlue wandered through Damian's villa, her thoughts swirling like autumn leaves caught Augustof wind. The vibrant colors of the decor blurred into an indistinct haze as her heart raced, a tumultuous storm brewing within. Lost in her mind, she barely noticed the sleek car speeding down the driveway until it was almost upon her. The driver skillfully drifted aside just in time, the vehicle's tires skidding to a halt mere inches from her. The driver, a middle-aged man with wide eyes, scrambled out of the car, panic etched on his face. "Are you alright?" he asked, his voice shaky. Blue merely blinked at him, her expression vacant, as if she were a ghost drifting through the world, untouched and unbothered by the chaos around her.Damian, who had been seated in the passenger seat, caught sight of the scene unfolding before him. Alarm surged through him, and he swiftly exited the car, rushing towards her. "Blue!" he called out, gripping her shoulders to turn her towards hi

Blue's povThe café was a cozy little spot, tucked away from the busy streets, with the rich aroma of coffee wafting through the air. I stepped in, scanning the room for Indigo. When I spotted her, my heart sank a little. She looked just as polished as ever, her posture perfectly poised, even if her smile was a little too practiced. “Sorry I’m late,” I said, taking my seat across from her. “It’s okay,” she replied with that polite smile. I could see right through it. I knew her well enough to recognize the façade she wore, a mask she had perfected over the years, thanks to Mom. A wave of frustration washed over me. "Or maybe your very existence," that thought crept in, but I quickly shook it off. This wasn’t the time for that. “Please don’t be mad at Mom about yesterday,” Indigo began, her tone earnest, but it felt rehearsed. “I can’t be mad at what I can’t control,” I shot back, trying to lighten the mood, but the tension was palpable. I couldn’t help but wonder what Mom had said to

Blue's povI took a deep breath as I stepped into Nora's room, the familiar sounds of the maids bustling around filling the air. "Hi, Nora," I started, my voice quivering with nervousness. But the eight-year-old didn't even bother to spare me a glance. As soon as her hair was done, Nora simply picked up her books and slid them into her bag, completely ignoring me. The chill of Nora's indifference hit me like a fist to the chest. I knew I had messed up by pushing her aside, but I couldn't handle this cold treatment, not from her. Maybe from my family, sure, but from Nora? The girl who had always been so sweet and kind to me, despite her occasionalGrumpiness? It hurt so badly."I'm sorry," I muttered, just as Nora reached for the door. Tears began to spill over without my permission. "I didn't mean to..." I paused, trying to gain back my composure. "Get out," Nora said harshly, and my head jerked up in surprise. But I quickly realized she was was referring to the other helpers, not me.
