Zariel's POV“Talia?” I called out, my voice cutting through the quiet air of the café. She spun around, her sharp eyes locking onto mine, brows lifting in a mix of irritation and curiosity. “You are ten minutes late!” She hissed, her gaze darting to the delicate wristwatch on her wrist. “Well, well, well,” I clapped slowly, a smirk tugging at the corners of my lips as I slid into the seat across from her. “Seems like someone couldn't wait to see me,” My tone was light, teasing, but her eyes narrowed. She didn't look amused at all. “Why did you call me here, Zariel?” She demanded. I leaned back, feigning nonchalance even though her patience was evident. “This isn’t a good way to talk to your brother-in-law,” I teased again, my smirk widening.
