Still Alpha Abel’s Point Of ViewAs I assisted Joanna out of the vehicle, I closed the door behind her and gently pressed her against the hood. Her body felt so warm, enough to heat up the little space between us.I closed my eyes for a few seconds to savor the heavenly sensation my mate was instilling in me. Tilting her chin upwards, my thumb traced over her bottom lip. She trembled at our touch and slowly raised her gaze to meet mine, her gray eyes were truly captivating beyond compare. That unforgettable night, I had barely taken the time to study them. Yet now, with them so near, I realized my life would feel incomplete without their presence. But there was no chance of me losing out on this, they belonged to me and I intended to immerse myself in their essence for the rest of my days."You are beautiful," I murmured against her lips. "Please give us a chance, and I'll make amends for the way I brought you here and those long, lonely hours in that room. I had to keep you isolated

Joanna's Point Of ViewLost in thought, I turned and walked into the apartment. The events of the last hour passed me by.The Alpha! My desperate reaction to his kiss was uncommon. I acknowledged that there was an undeniable attraction between us, but it was more of a sexual nature. It was nothing compared to what I felt for Clyde. Damn it, and I am still a married woman. And then his comments about his wolf buzzed through my head. Had I really had sex with an animal that night? According to him, he and his wolf took turns on me. Holy goodness! How hadn't I noticed any of this? This was unthinkable.Of course, at that moment I was in ecstasy, forgetting everything around me because of the infinite pleasure he was giving me. It was as if I had entered another world where only he and I existed and all that mattered was to satisfy our passion. It was sex and nothing else. Ordinary animal lust. But a few minutes ago in his office, we had a different experience. It turned out that we had o

Joanna's Point Of View StillGoodness gracious!I had hoped that Mr. Handsome was blessed with some brains as well. Nothing was more frustrating than to engage with a strikingly attractive man, only to discover he lacked wit or intellect. The imposing and irritated Alpha before me now had surely overlooked the finer details. "The doctor referred to you as Alpha when he entered, genius," I responded in a tone reminiscent of a kindergarten teacher. I rolled my eyes, which clearly infuriated him. It seemed the Alpha couldn't tolerate having his weaknesses highlighted. "Take it easy, little fish. I dragged you out of the creek yesterday, and today you're talking down to me?" he growled as he took a menacing step towards me. But his intimidating demeanor didn't scare me, I defiantly met his gaze head-on. He looked back at me in bewilderment, probably not used to such insolence. "How did you learn about werewolves? As a human, you weren't supp

Joanna's Point Of View Still The days in the Moonlight Seekers pack flew by. I felt like I was getting stronger. After three days in the pack, I offered Emma my help in the kitchen. Sleeping and watching television was becoming dull, I saw no one but the maid who brought a tray of food three times a day.Emma understood my situation and seized my offer with both hands. We quickly became good friends, and she introduced me to some of her Italian recipes, which she insisted were Zane's favorites. Yesterday, I made lasagna for the Alpha table for the first time; according to Emma, both Zane and the Beta devoured it all. They even argued over who would get the last piece.Zane inquired about who made it as the taste was entirely different from Emma's. Upon learning that I had cooked yesterday, he praised me, which felt wonderful. Today, I prepared my specialty, Jamaican Jerk Barbecue Chicken and Pork with its signature sauce. To balance out the spice, I inc

Again Joanna's Point Of ViewJanice was not seen throughout the week.I wasn't sure what excuse she gave Zane and Beta Cleo, but they didn't bring her up while we were sitting at the table. However, I couldn't shake off what happened at the mall, especially remembering that woman who looked at me oddly and then said she'd made a mistake.I was certain she was involved with Janice's mate. She was the girlfriend of the man who had caused my friend so much distress. It's likely that Janice, heartbroken by his infidelity, and didn't want to know anything about him. After convincing Emma to tell me how to get to Janice's apartment, I went to see her. I knocked quietly on the door. At first, it was quiet on the other side."Janice, please let me in. I need to know what's going on. Come on, girlfriend," I pleaded with her. There was a rumble and then the door creaked open slowly. I quickly slipped inside before she could change her mind. She lay back down on the bed, and I to
