FELICIA It was my 18th birthday. And fortunately for me and my twin sister, the full moon night. Double fortunately, the blood moon night. It's considered that the hosts who awaken their wolves on the blood moon night, are considered the most powerful among our kind. And are often chosen to take over the highest ranks among tha packs, like alpha, Luna, beta, beta woman, Gamma and gamma woman.Life was not perfect for me. Especially when my sister was stealing the limelight by lying to our parents. Only one person knew her truth. That was our brother Daniel. But he had to leave the pack for his Alpha training. And he was not coming home, even for our awakening. Unlike my sister, I was close to my brother. I was his princess. I didn't expect much from my life. A mate who would respect me and love me. A life where no one steal away my limelight. Holding a cup of latte in my hands, I peeked out of my window. The sun was lowering in the sky. Time was running fast. I looked at my dress t

FELICIA Something happened. After two days, it was Andrew who opened the door. Marlee tended to my wounds and gave me some high dosage meds so I could pull through. After that, I was informed to be ready. As Brad would come by noon to take me away. And I was instructed to say nothing about the incident. “You didn't listen last time. Please, don't mess this up.” was what Beta Andrew told me before he left.It felt wrong but I had to obey. Disobedience brought me pain and suffering I could never explain. By noon, I was called downstairs. When I arrived, I heard Brad berating my father. “Did you really think you could hide something like that from me?” My heart nearly stopped when I looked at his phone screen. It played the same video that was sent to my father.“I can't believe you wanted me to mark a slut like her. This peace agreement among us is no more. I am leaving now.” Brad wasn't just calling off the marking, he was dismissing the peace treaty.“Alpha, please. Don't do this. My

FELICIA A few weeks passed since I was marked by Beta Andrew. Since I was mostly alone in the house, I decided to take over the household duties. One day, I just picked up the broom and changed everything around the house. I cooked for him then I cleaned up everything. When it was time for him to return home, I was literally sweating with fear. The door opened and Beta Andrew walked in. He froze when he looked around the house. I was biting my nails out of anxiety. “I am sorry. I was bored.” Narrowing my head, I apologized for intruding.“Why are you apologizing? It's your home now. You are allowed to make changes. Besides, I like the interior more now.” I blinked a few times. He walked past me, a smile was on his face. Before he could start climbing up the stairs, I called out from behind. “Beta! I made dinner.” I barely managed to utter those four words out of my mouth. He looked at me for a moment. Then he nodded his head and walked away. He didn't know that I apologized becaus

FELICIA The next morning, we woke up a little late. I went to the kitchen to pack us some food. Rebecca was there with all the maids, barking orders at them. I rolled my eyes at her as I walked toward the refrigerator. I was able to grab a few veggies, some cheese and fruits. That was all I packed for Beta and I. When my father called us out, I was holding Beta's hand and was hiding behind his tall figure. “Felicia, you don't need to hide behind me.” Beta Andrew whispered to me then he looked at me. Blinking at him, I shook my head. I was glad that he didn't push me anymore.“Now that everyone is here, let's get going.” My father announced. As everyone started walking, Beta Andrew scooped me up in his arms.“What are you doing? I can walk fine.” I asked, feeling a little embarrassed. “I can do the hard work for you. You can relax and enjoy yourself.” His words were firm. I just zipped my lips as I knew I couldn't fight him.I tried to avoid the gazes that were constantly on me, on

FELICIA My heart was thudding in my chest as fear gripped it. Just then, his wolf, Drew, looked me straight in the eye then crouched before me. I took a deep breath. I grabbed the kit and climbed on Drew's back. Hesitantly, I grabbed his hair. He didn't move until I was secured on his back. When he started running into the woods, I watched magic all around us. He was faster than the wind itself. And he didn't even let a single dew drop touch me. It was beautiful and romantic in its own way. I had never experienced anything like that before. Drew stopped where it was known to find the deers.I was standing in the middle of the forest, barefoot, wearing my PJs only. My heart started pounding against my rib cage again when Beta Andrew wrapped his arms around me from behind and pulled me to his warm embrace. He grabbed the bow and set an arrow with it. “Choose your prey, Felicious.” He whispered so casually in my ear, yet the nickname he had given me a long time ago, to annoy me, sudde
