Lucius did not expect to see me raise my head. He gritted his teeth and was at a loss. Lilian was the first to react. “Oh, Lucius! You came back to life! How lucky we are! It seemed like Lucius and Lilian were going to come up with a way to make me sign for divorce in the meantime. All I had to do was stay vigilant toward them. After all, I did not know how wicked they could be. I returned to my room at night. Lucius, Lilian, and Rebecca were sitting on the sofa and watching TV. Lilian had asked Rebecca to spend the night while we were still at the dining table. Presumably, they wanted to discuss something. I was cautious and left a recording pen behind the sofa. When they went back to their rooms to sleep in the middle of the night, I went to the living room to search for the recording pen. I fast-forwarded to when someone started talking. After reaching the summit of the snowy mountain, I pretended to sit down to rest. I noticed Lucius looking around for something. He looked down at the mountain and stole glances at me from time to time. I pretended not to know as I drank some hot water from the thermos and rested my feet. When I was fully rested, I got up. “Let’s go, hubby. Let’s go down the mountain. It’s too cold here. My head hurts.” Unexpectedly, Lucius abruptly got up. “No, we can’t. We don’t get to see the sunrise from the mountain peak every day.
