I can hear my phone ringing from the other side of the bathroom door, no doubt it’s Liana calling back. I unlock the door and climb back into bed with the pregnancy test in my pyjama pocket.“Is everything ok?” Daniel asks as he pulls me in for a hug. “I’m not sure”, I reply. My heart is still pounding so hard in my chest, and my breath is shaky. I slowly pull out the test and hand it to Daniel, “I’m pregnant”.Daniel sits bolt upright and stares at the test. I wish I knew what was going on in his head. Then he looks at me, grabs hold of me and says, “this is amazing!”Oh my God the relief I feel right now is surreal, a rush of happiness fills my body, and I begin to cry, I look at Daniel and see that he’s crying too. “I was so nervous, I didn’t know what you would think, you’ve got so much going on at the moment, I don’t want to add to your stress. “This isn’t stressful my darling, this is wonderful”. I lay my head back down on to his chest and we lay there in momentary bliss.
