AUTHOR'S POV It was quiet as Lucas stared at Katerina, her chest raising and falling in a steady rhythm, sleeping peacefully as though there was nothing to worry about. Her long eyelashes were damp with tears that cling on it and her eyes a little swollen from too much crying, and a single teardrop ran down her cheek.
