“I know you are awake.” Luca whispered in my ear. Kissing my forehead, his hand was playing with my hair. “Are you okay?” “Yeah.” I whispered to him.“You are still mad at me.” Luca sighed. “Look at me.” Opening my eyes, I looked at his tired eyes. “I can’t help but try to protect you. My wolf… he’s been anxious, like he is expecting something to happen.” “We have known a storm is brewing.” Sighing, I rolled over, and so did my stomach. Luca didn’t seem to notice. “I’d love to stay in bed, but I need to go to the cells.”“I want to come, too.” Luca leaned up to get out of bed.
