‡CHAPTER FORTY -ONE

Orion’s POV The drive was silent, not because none of us couldn't speak, but because we were going to a place we didn't want to. If I was considered a mean Alpha ,then Alpha Hudson was worse. He pried into issues he wasn't supposed to pry into and didn't mind if he was over saying something. “ Seems like we're too early,” Sebastian said, feeling grumpy . “ I think we're late instead, there are other cars around” Sylvia replied and I nodded. We got down and before we got in, Sebastian said what I wanted to say. “ Please do not speak until you're spoken to, we do not want to declare war over Hudson” he said, speaking directly to Angela who only grumbled a reply. “ Orion, Sebastian, welcome , I'm guessing these are your mates? “ Alpha Hale of the hale pack greeted. A kind alpha who despite his calmness, ruled his pack with strict orders. “ Thank you, yes they are,” I replied. Angela took my hand as we walked towards the conference room. The Southern pack consisted of just a few pack

‡CHAPTER FORTY- TWO

Delaury's POV “ What is wrong with her Jules?” Tristan asked for the tenth time since Jules arrived and the man was as irritated as he could be. “ If only you would let me check on her, I'd know,I just came son” he retorted and Tristan retreated in silence. Jules worked in silence, working on a comatose Krystal as we all watched him.“ A little privacy would do,” he said, and we both nodded and left.“ Why would she just go off like that,” Tristan questioned. “ Maybe if you just hadn't gone off on her like like that, she wouldn't “ I stated, “ She wasn't –” “ How the hell was she supposed to know that Kira had no good intentions? Do you explain things to her” I replied. I angrily moved away from him to obviously clear my head. Tyron rushed in, distress written all over his face. “ What happened to Krystal? “ “ How did you know something has happened to her?” Tristan fired.“ Another story for another day” “ Nothing happened to her,”“ He yelled at her” I rattled and he turned

‡CHAPTER FORTY- THREE

Tristan’s POV Two years ago, “ Alpha we're not done , the fire is yet to catch the rest of the sides” the old wolf ,Elias stated. The rogues had been bothering us for years and finally I'd mastered courage to burn up the routes that led to my pack. Just to confuse them.“ I know, I will put someone in charge for that, I really need to go” “ Is she around? “ He asked, giving me a knowing smirk. The only time I ran from meetings like this was when my beautiful mate was around. She had been wrapped around her fingers and I couldn't have it any better. “ Come on, who is the ‘she’” I teased.Ours was a sceretive bond, one she had preferred to keep it a secret until we finally mated publicly and she became my Luna. As much as I had enough intimacy with her, I wanted to show the whole pack who their beautiful Luna was. “ Take care, I'll meet you guys at the pack” I yelled. “ Calm down boy” Azrael kicked within me in excitement. She had finally sneaked from the nearby pack to mine an

‡CHAPTER FORTY-FOUR

Delaury's POV “ What is he talking about Tyron? “ Krystal asked, sitting up on the bed. “ Krystal–” “ Tell her exactly why I'm preventing you from being together, you idiot” Tristan yelled out. “ I guess you're fine now so I'll be taking my leave here “ Jules said, not wanting to be caught in the web. No one replied. I was the best person to do so but I was concerned about how Krystal was going to take whatever was about to be said. “ We had a fucking deal Tristan” Tyron yelled. “ You didn't go according to it and besides she left me so there's nothing to lose right? “ “ Can you guys just spill what's going on? “ I demanded. “ Look Krystal, believe me it was a mistake ,I didn't mean to –” Tyron began, “ Just go straight to the point,Tyron” “ Yeah ,go Straight to the point” Tristan said, taking a seat beside the bed. “ I slept with Tristan’s former mate one time when he wasn't around. It was wrong and I apologize about it but it was technically his fault” “ How exactly was

‡CHAPTER FORTY -FIVE

Orion’s POV “ Delta Argon, how are you doing? “ I asked, as much as I was angry, I needed to keep my cool. “ I'm fine Alpha, how about you,?” “ May I speak to your wife? “ I ignored his question and went straight to the reason why I was right in front of his house. “ She's inside, is there any prob-” “ May I see her Delta? “i repeated, this time angrier. “ Okay” he went inside to call his wife who seemed shocked to see me. “ Lady Crawford, I'd like to speak to you ALONE” I ordered. She nodded, turning to her husband who I assume was also part of what went on with Hudson.I led the way towards he pack mansion, I didn't have a particular place I wanted to talk to her but I needed to be out of earshot with her. “ May I know how and why you got to report issues of the Eziele pack to Alpha Hudson? “ I questioned, not bothering to be formal. “ It's for your own good, I needed to speed things up” “ Speed things up for the moon goddess? Or the oracle? How can we speed up a mating

‡CHAPTER FORTY- SIX

Delaury's POV“ Stay back Delaury,” Tyron warned as he prepared to shift and attack the wolf. Its fangs were as long as any Wolf's I've seen and the color was as rare as it came. It was neither black nor grey or Ash. It looked brown with a tint of redness around. I watched Tyron shift as I stood behind him, his tail wagging to alert me to move back. I didn't. I was rooted to the spot ,some form of connection pulling towards the strange wolf . Tyron lunged first but he could reach the wolf, he stopped and fell down, his wolf writhing in pain. The wolf didn't spare him a glance. It was looking at me. I was the one it came for even though I didn't know who it was. It jumped past Tyron as I moved back and it walked towards me. “ Who are you? “ I yelled. Tyron's wolf was up now, growling at the angry rare wolf walking to me. It turned when Tyron bit into its neck and soon Tyron had been thrown far away from us. Normally Tyron was a strong wolf, whatever this wolf had was something dif

‡CHAPTER FORTY- SEVEN

Delaury's POV The death of Kira was the most rumored case in all of the Jolt's Pack. Tristan made it clear not to mention what took place at the pack mansion but I couldn't help but think about the words she said before dying. And what type of wolf was she? “ Delaury” Tyron called out, “ Krystal is awake now” The two spent a whole night talking and I simply figured they'd worked things out. Tristan was yet to speak to her but I decided not to pester him if he actually promised to do so. We've been quite rocky too, I didn't if I was the one avoiding him or he was. “ You called for me” I simply said , when I entered the room. Krystal was up now and the usual gloominess was gone. “ Thank you,” she said. “ For? “ “I really don't know how I would have survived in this house without you, especially with this weird issue going on” “ Don't worry, I know it hurts but you really need to put everything aside and forgive okay” I advised, she nodded smiling. “ I need to talk to you, too

‡CHAPTER FORTY- EIGHT

Delaury's POV It was a dream. I kept whispering to myself. I'd been having hallucinations since Kira's death and I was damned near crazy. The mansion’s earlier tension has reduced a bit, with Krystal finally coping with the fact that she had a family member who was still alive. I didn't know the story of her mom's death but really didn't want to pry. “ You okay? “ I was watching the wolves go about their daily activities, it was morning but I figured I'd been sitting in one place for almost three hours. “ I'm fine, where are they? “ I asked Krystal. Tyron and Tristan still have some silent fights amongst themselves. “ To train the young wolves.” She simply stated. Her pregnancy glow was just something else. A thought crossed my mind and I pushed it far away. “ What are you wearing for the blood moon night? “ “ Wearing? “ She glared at me in shock. “ I'll let that pass since you didn't experience back at your former pack, it's a celebration here, we need to get you sn

‡CHAPTER FORTY-NINE

Orion's POV “ I can't believe your dad got me this dress, it's so beautiful” Angela exclaimed for the tenth time. My ears were screaming for peace. “ Yes it is, you look beautiful” I said. Genuinely she did look beautiful. It was high time I focused on someone who was mine since we were kids, than holding on to someone I never really spoke to nor cared about. Or did I? “ I know you weren't supposed to see it but I couldn't resist showing it to you, promise me you'll act surprised when you see me wearing it” she said, turning her seductive eyes on me. “ I promise,” I replied. A part of me should feel guilty that it was my dad that got it for her and not me , but all the same I didn't even know it was going to be a celebration which required dressing up. “ Good, “ she kissed me and returned to taking the dress off in my presence. I'd never really looked at her with her dress off. I'd seen many girls though but with her, I felt it was inappropriate to do so when we hadn't mated ye

‡CHAPTER FIFTY

Orion's POV “ This , I found this “ I slammed the book on the table, in front of Sylvia and Sebastian. The two watched me in confusion. .“Where did you find it? “ Sylvia asked suspiciously. “ Delaury's house” I needed to come clean If I wanted to get their help. “ What did you go and do there? Haven't you heard of privacy” She yelled. “ Calm down Sylv, technically there's no–” Sebastian didn't end his sentence, she glared at him, as much as she was glaring at me. “ I don't understand this,” I continued, urging them to open it. Sylvia hesitated for sometime before taking it. Their faces were contorted in the same way I had mine when I saw it. “ I – never saw this when she was there, “ Sylvia confessed. “ You never saw her writing or reading? “ She shook her head. “ These are just so good yet I haven't seen any of them before” she continued. “ Wait ,we need to find what it really means” “ Remind me why you're snooping in her things and demanding answers again? “ “ Sylvia,
