Delaury's POV Blood moon eve. My whole body has been anticipating this day. Why? I don't know. Tristan has really been busy these past few days, working on moon knows who. He's been hunting a lot lately and I just felt the need to clear my head too so I ignored him. I'm obligated to be his mate after all. Star cringed inwardly in me.“ shut up, you're not even making me a wolf “ I hissed back. Tristan was on his way back from hunting and as I promised Krystal, I was currently seated at where I could see him come back. Waiting for him. The diamond necklace lay between my breasts, shining alongside the the glowing moon. I could see shades of red appear on it and I really wasn't ready for what was to happen. I could see Azrael stop at the sight of me seated there, he wasn't expecting me I guess. He mostly came back when I was asleep and left before I woke up. I turned my head as I heard him shift and few minutes later he was walking behind me. “ You're here? “ It was more like a q

Orion's POV “ Find her before he destroys her” Old Tasha’s words ring a bell in my head the whole week. Before who destroys her and who am I finding in the first place? It was the blood moon's eve and Instead of being with my future mate like everyone was expected to be, I was out here on the path to her house searching for clues as to where she might be . Old Tasha refused to give us back the book and even being the Alpha couldn't control her to give it back. We just left. I'd pretended everything was normal until tonight when Israel wouldn't be still, I'd gone for a night run, yet I was still uncomfortable. I'd told Angels I had to check if the pack was safe before I came back and she'd agreed , clearly she was exhausted from her shopping spree with her mom. “ Alpha Orion” I turned to find Fidele behind me. “Yes?” “ General Eziele is looking for you, he doesn't look happy” “ Any reason?”“ Angela is quite pissed you're not around her at the moment, she's throwing a tantrum,

Orion's PovThe weather was oddly chilled for a blood moon night. A rare night I'd never experienced before but the weather didn't describe the night. “ Are we set?” I turned to Ervin. “ Yes Alpha, though the moon looks oddly bloody” he stated and I couldn't agree more. He was right. The whole pack was shining red almost as if the the world itself was blood colored. “ Get the people so we begin the ceremony, where are Sebastian and Sylvia? “ “ Fidele went to check on them, Sebastian said something about Sylvia not feeling too well” I nodded, making a mental note to go see him. The omegas strutted into the pack grounds, dressed into their finest clothes. The whole pack would rebel against my decision to include them to the blood moon festival but I wouldn't listen. As long as they had a role to play, they were also part of the pack. She was also part. I watched as the pack strutted in, some in pairs and trios. Mostly in pairs. Mates. Yolanda nodded in my direction and I walked t

Delaury's POV Flashback: “ Mom, what's that behind you? “ I traced the nice tattoo behind her back as she swam in the ocean. “ Oh, it's something you'd get to know when you're older” “ I've seen Dad ,Dana and Delah have it but I don't “ “ Like I said hunny, you'd know when you're older, it's a powerful symbol for our family “ she explains, splashing water on my brown hair to get it wet. “ How will I get it Ma? “ “ Dad and I got it during our confession night, you know it was a forbidden night for us, that's why it's large, Dana and Delah got it during their first shift to a wolf “ “ So theirs isn't forbidden? “ She shook her head. “ When it's forbidden, it depicts the kind of wolf you'll become “ “ Which wolf? ““ A very strong one baby, don't worry young head, let's play with the water” I agreed, what was there to think of anyway? end of Flashback ★★★The lights blinded my already dark vision and I squinted even in my sleep. The pain at my back was so severe that I coul

Delaury's POV Five days. Five days of being indoors and my mid section wrapped with bandages . My breasts were pushing against the bandages, begging to be freed. I wonder why Jules found it right to bandage my breast too. How exactly did the lightning strike? The blood has stopped now and currently I was able to prop up on the end without hissing. “ Water? “ Krystal asked as she lay beside me on the bed. Tristan wanted to bring in another maid but she had refused, saying she was just pregnant and not disabled. She used to come see me and then go back to her room after seeing to my needs, but after my weird episodes of nightmares, she'd decided to sleep with me instead. “ Yes, can I get grapes too? “ I pleaded. She gave me a warm smile and got up to leave. Tyron came in after she left. “ Hi, Krystal told me you're awake, come to check on you” he said. “ Thank you so much, I appreciate this” “ I'm sorry Delaury, I really wanted to stop him, I don't know what's wrong with him these
