Semua Bab Side Chick Era… Over: Bab 1471 - Bab 1480

Silas looked at Sharon coldly and spoke in a voice full of self-righteous justification."Sharon, I am also Mom's child. The original shares in your hands should have included my portion as well."But since we're real siblings, our brothers and I didn't argue with you when you kept those original shares for yourself."However, what you never should have done was let yourself be bewitched by a man and allow it to affect the company's interests—and all the painstaking effort Mom put in over the years."No matter what, we're still family. So I'll give you a chance to choose. Between the original shares and Thomas… you choose."At some point, a razor-sharp dagger had appeared in Silas's hand. The bright, gleaming blade caught the sunlight streaming through the window, flashing with a chilling, icy glare. The corner of Silas's lips slowly curved into a malicious smile.Sharon said coldly, "Silas, what are you trying to do?!"Silas laughed. "I know asking you to kill someone is a bi

Silas hesitated.Yes—trading his ten percent ordinary shares for Sharon's ten percent original shares wasn't a loss at all. In fact, it was a huge gain.Maybe it was because he had suffered too many losses at Sharon's hands in the past. For some reason, he felt wary.He looked at Thomas cautiously. "Your words don't count. Sharon has to agree to it."As soon as he finished speaking, Sharon's voice came through."Fine."Silas studied Sharon's expression carefully. He couldn't see anything unusual. But he wasn't that easy to fool."This is something you said yourself in front of all the shareholders. I didn't force you. Don't come to me later and claim I threatened you into choosing, then deny the transfer and say it isn't valid."Sharon nodded. "I understand."Silas still wasn't fully reassured."In that case, say it clearly in front of everyone—you're transferring the shares voluntarily and selling them to me. Everyone here can be a witness. You don't have a problem with tha

Scott said, "Maybe Thomas's real reason for staying beside Sharon was the original shares."All the help he gave her before was just to earn her trust, so that when it came to a truly important choice, she would choose him."He looked at Victoria and added, "Think about it carefully. He did give a lot for Sharon—but compared to the value of Sharon's ten percent of original shares, what he gave really doesn't amount to much, does it?"Victoria's brows tightened slightly. It was true. Even if Thomas had given Sharon fifty billion, compared to ten percent of her original shares, that amount… still didn't seem like much.Victoria said, "If he helped Sharon for the sake of those shares, that does make sense."But in the end, the original shares ended up in Silas's hands."Do you think Thomas plans to snatch the shares from Silas?"Even if Silas is foolish, he will do anything to protect his last lifeline. If anyone dares touch his original shares, he'll fight them to the death."At t

Hearing this, Silas didn't panic in the slightest. He said calmly, "What exactly happened? Tell me clearly."The assistant's voice trembled. "We were taking the documents to process the share transfer… but suddenly there was a fire. The flames spread fast, and everyone started running. "Both lawyers thought the other one had taken the documents, so they both ran out. We didn't realize… we didn't realize… that neither of them took anything. The share transfer agreement… it was burned to ashes…"Silas let out a cold laugh. "I knew it. There's no way Sharon would be that obedient. So this was her plan all along."What are you panicking for? We have notarization and backups. Even if the transfer agreement was burned, the contract between Sharon and me is already legally in effect. Trying to back out this way? She's way too naive."The assistant's voice broke, on the verge of tears. "I thought the same thing, so I asked the two lawyers to retrieve the electronic backup and the notari

Silas flew into a rage, recounting to everyone how sinister Sharon was, and how shamelessly she had set him up.By the end, he declared, "Everyone here watched the live broadcast. You were all there. All of you can testify that Sharon agreed to the share transfer. So even if the written contract was burned, the agreement I signed with Sharon is still legally valid."But Jacob suddenly spoke up. "Silas, we did watch the livestream and saw you sign the agreement. But we never saw the actual terms of that agreement. How could a verbal agreement count? Everything should be based on a written contract."Several shareholders from Shayla's faction began to play dumb and quickly echoed his words. The neutral shareholders also tried to smooth things over in the middle. All of them were old foxes of the business world, and they had already sensed that this might have been a trap from the very beginning—a scheme designed to deceive Silas. Now Sharon still held her original shares and had ev
