Andrew“I’m serious, honey! I’ve seen my friend. She was congratulating me for our wedding. I had to let her in!”I tried my best to calm her down, scooping her face so that I was the only thing she could see.“I know, honey. Good for you. But right now you had to take your medicine. Don’t worry. I would open the door for your friend! She was waiting, so hurry up and drink this.”Charlotte slowly settled down. She wasn’t shaking anymore, an obvious hint of drug dependence. I carried her hands toward the bedside. The omegas around us whispered.“Good girl. Now stay here, honey. I’ll let the door stay open, in case your mom came back. Okay?” Charlotte nodded violently. Her eyes were still restless, looking everywhere. It struck my heart like a little pointed stick seeing her condition, but it was all for a better purpose.I dashed toward the group of omegas watching us and pulled a brown box filled with tea from my pocket.“This was not just ordinary tea. It had a mixture of medicine fo

Emma“After lunch around 2 pm, there was a company visit from Moon Life Tech. A representative would hold a short meeting there. Probably for much stronger ties with us.”Ara laid the schedules while flipping some pages in her arms.“The report was ready as well. After that we had to attend an early dinner with another representative. For a possible partnership.”“I knew that one.” I responded just for Ara to stop.It was not that I hated working that day. Work had been a good drug for me. I just wanted to have a moment of silence. I tried to but my mind was not functioning like it should. It carried a ton of thoughts, and more still proceeded to come.“A quick meeting with the others would be an hour. Mostly to prepare for the upcoming things. Nothing special.”Her words continued to drill in my head. I bit my lower lip. Any more words would have made me go insane. All of my senses were crying for a different thing, for a single thing.I pushed my desk loudly and stood before Ara.“I

Loud gasps filled the room. Everyone’s jaw dropped as they exchanged glances with each other. My heart throbbed wildly. Alexander stared back with slightly raised brows. To let that out had been the greatest relief. I smiled, knowing I had finally allowed myself to connect in blissful honesty. No more hiding. No more running away. I bravely charged head-on to offer my feelings.I could hardly breathe as he walked back. It was magical and yet it was real. My lungs could barely draw air as Alexander approached me. Each step gave me more butterflies. I had finally let Alexander shade the colors of my life, entirely and most ardently. If he would have let me pour out everything, a day would not have been enough. I had kept everything hidden inside me. I had pretended a treasure didn’t exist within me. I had acted as if there had been nothing special hiding behind our gazes.I barely believed it was a dream come to life. I had shoved it aside as a myth, denying every existence. I had used

AlexanderThe Northpike Pack welcomed us warmly. Alpha Chris handed everything we needed. He led us to his special training ground for my preparation against defending my throne.“You can stay here as long as you want. And if you need anything, just let me know.”“This is more than enough, Alpha Chris. I can never thank you enough.”Alpha Chris took a deep breath. “How did it come to this, Alpha Alexander?”I turned around to see my friends losing spirit against our situation.“A traitor from one of my councils,” I said. “And an ambitious shamed Alpha who happened to be the princess' husband.”“So does it mean—”“Yes.” I answered before he could even finish. “As you are aware already, my brother Zac already denounced his claim to the throne long before. Which leaves the princess to be next in line.”“So the princess is now the acting leader of the Blood Moon Pack?”“No… unfortunately…”Alpha Chris gave a puzzled look.“You know Charlotte is too young to rule. Her jerk of a husband and

AlexanderMy body remained the same. But there was no way out now. I had to face Andrew for the future of my pack.I growled and called out my spirit wolf, shifting into our natural form.“So you’re finally ready to die?” Andrew taunted while doing the same.“Are you talking about yourself?”The crowd burst with laughter.“What the hell is that creature?”“So the rumors were true! Look at him!”Their voices cut stung like tiny needles poking every fiber of my skin. I had always known this day would come. I had imagined this very scenario since I was young…an arena filled with scornful eyes…my form mocked and ridiculed. It was humiliating, but it was the truth. In this world, respect was not given for appearances but for sheer strength and power.“Should I give you a crutch? You can barely stand, Alexander.”The crowd went on with their chuckles. It filled my ears from every corner and drowned every thought except rage.“You know, if you kneel to me right now, you don’t have to suffer,
