Kian’s POV The night stretched on annoyingly but I could barely get any form of sleep. I was caught in between chasing this snoring pig by my side back to her room or leaving the room myself. However, I could do neither of the above. Mother left me a stern warning not to mess things up like I did in the garden. She went ahead to advise me to have heated sex with Cynthia so the Richardson would not have any doubt about their daughter’s well-being. I sighed deeply. The fact that mother always had a way of sacrificing my feelings to achieve everything she wanted in life made my heart tighten. Even after all these years, I could not bring myself to become completely angry with her and overlook her counsel. Paul always teases me about being under my mother’s thumb. However, he would never understand the sacrifices she had to make because of my Father’s choices. I tossed the cover and gently moved Cynthia’s hands away from my torso before getting out of the bed. The moon was so bright

Cynthia’s POVDays Passed….It was both a miserable and bitter moment for me as I watched my parents get into the car. Hot tears stung the side of my eyes but I concealed them quickly. Mom and Dad made me so happy that I never wanted the weekend to come to an end. “Everything would be fine darling,” Queen Marietta whispered. My heart shattered when the car drove out of the compound, if only I could have everything I want without having to make a choice! Damn! Kian stood at the other side with a cold expression on his face. He seemed to have gotten on my dad’s nerves this morning. Why do they always have to fight? “Now that the show is over, you better watch your back. Don’t cross the line!!” I blurted angrily before storming off into the living room. Some maids were busy trying to scrub off some stains on the floor. My emotions were overboard and I truly needed something to calm me down. I pushed the door to my bedroom open and closed it with a loud bang. I turned myself a glass

Daphne’s POV I hummed lightly to the tune blasting from the speaker while Davina and I drove along the streets of Vegas. It looked so organized with everyone moving around their daily activities like normal individuals. Unfortunately, the nightlife here was crazy! However, it was good for business! I stepped on the brakes slowly, coming to a halt just before the zebra crossing at the intersection. My voice was slightly increasing with every verse that played while I tapped my fingers simultaneously with the beat. “Are you good, sweetie?” I asked Davina who was so engrossed in the fashion game that I became invisible. Her jade green eyes stared briefly in my direction, but she went back to putting blush on her model’s face. “I'm fine, mommy. Aren’t we there yet?” she questioned. “Soon, sweetie. I'm certain Uncle Felix and Davis must have gotten to Grandpa’s company.” Davina placed her iPad down and expressed, “I can’t wait to see the smile on Grandpa’s face when we arrive at

Daphne’s PovTaking a minute I excused myself from the buzz in the studio and went towards the balcony. A petite blonde who was working as one of the beauticians asked warmly,“Do you need anything, Miss Debby? I could get it for you…” her words trailed softly.I waved gently,“Nothing really, I just need to make a quick call,” I replied. She bowed gently before walking back to the dressing room.I sighed softly. Felix would always make me do the things I don't want to. Why did I lose to him in the chess game? Bloody disturbance!I hated the whole showbiz that comes with the celebrity life. It's quite questionable how you never have anyone around you telling you the truth, all you have are asslickers!I dialed Pen’s number, but at first it failed to connect. Trying for the second time she answered immediately,“Hello, Miss Debby,”Her voice was a little shaky and she seemed quite disoriented. So I asked,“How are you?”“I'm fine, ma. Is there anything you need me to help with? I'm tr

Daphne's PovMy hands trembled visibly but I leaned on the sides of the table for a second. "I need you, Daphne. You belong to me!" Kian's voice echoed across the restaurant. Instantly Beta Paul approached the table holding his phone. "Kian, you need to calm down," he whispered placing his hands on Kian's shoulders. He redirected his gaze towards us and said, "Apologies, Miss Debby. Mr Kian has been feeling a little overwhelmed recently. Is there anything I can do to make you let it slide?" Felix suddenly chipped in, "My wife gets flustered easily and I don't appreciate Mr Kian's disrespect. He should know better next time than to touch a married woman without her permission." I was surprised at how well Felix played my husband's role, as if he had been rehearsing for it. He needs a reward for being so thorough anyway. "Babe, let's get out of here," he added tucking away a loose strand of hair from my face. I nodded lightly taking one last glance at Kian who appeared downcas
