Ryker I walked into my room, shutting the door behind me and paused. My head felt full, as though it had been stuffed with a thick layer of cotton. I took a deep breath trying to force it away. It still persisted. “Damn it,” I shook my head. Going to see Zerah was a mistake. Ridding myself of my suit, I moved straight into the shower. The warmth of the water trickling down my skin was able to get rid of some of the fog, but it wasn't enough. Stepping out in solely a towel, I didn't leave the bathroom.
