It was late at night when Isabella was awakened by something beautiful. It was a woman's voice, it sounded so angelic that Isabella had to see where it was coming from. So, she walked over to the window and she looked toward the woods. She saw pink mist flowing out of the forest into the fields. It lit up like a thunderstorm and an image of a woman with a tail popped into her mind. She fainted and she fell with a loud thud. Then her father came into her room after he heard the noise. “Isabella, are you okay?”Her father had lifted her up in his arms and her eyes started to flutter.“Dad what happened? The Dark Forest was noisey and something was stirring inside. There was a boy running for his life and he was far away from home.“Where is the boy? Find him and bring him to me!” The young boy weaved between a thicket of trees and his pursuers were closing in. He witnessed his parents capture and the men from his tribe were coming for him. They were closer now. He could hear their heavy breathing, the twigs snapping and the leaves crunching all around. They were on his heels and his legs were starting to feel numb. The howls bounced off the trees and the pack were coming upon his position. Their snarls rattled him and his heart felt like it was coming out of his chest. The clearing was near and he could see the moon shining from above. It was so bright, it illuminated the ground.
