LYRA'S POV "Oh." I reacted at that. "I guess it's a good thing we never got to face them." I choked on my spit saying that. "Are you alright?' Selena tilted her head at me. "Yeah, I'm okay." I said with a nod. "I think I would just have a maid get you something to drink. Coming here was quite a journey." "I already told you, you don't have to bother and took me nothing more than five minutes to get here." She smiled. "I guess I know how that's possible." I shrugged. "Would you like to spend the night?" I asked her. "Or you're just gonna poof." I signaled with a snap of my fingers. "As much as I like the idea of the first, I believe the latter is more fun." She chuckled. "Coupled with the fact that Duncan needs me , however much he might try to deny it." "Oh, I don't think he would ever deny that." I grinned. "Oh, you should have seen how insistent he was when he ordered me to come over." She laughed. "I better get going now." Sh

DUNCAN'S POV "Are you seriously asking me this?" I gritted. "Yes." She whispered without remorse. "I want to know why Selena would suddenly leave the pack when you're like this." "Haven't I already told you?, now give me back that blanket." Goddess curse the rogue who put me under this ailment. I swear I would have grabbed the sheets from her hands if it wasn't for it. "I won't, not until you tell me the truth, the real truth." "And what exactly would you do to me if I don't, huh?" I threw at her. I couldn't imagine her doing me any harm, not because she couldn't, I mean she already had an advantage but because I am an Alpha and whether or not she would accept, I controlled her. Sophia exhaled and threw the blanket at me. "How long before she gets back?" She questioned going around the bed as she hit a pen which had suddenly appeared out of no where continuously on her palm. "Why exactly are you asking me that? Is it any of your business. For

LIRA'S POV The room was quite, dark, sullen, I didn't know where I was and I could hardly see anything except for Lyra and Elyan's faces in front of me. There was a small desk lamp standing right in the middle of the table, the table wasn't that big and it's width was probably somewhere around twenty centimeters. I heaved a sigh, now is to begining the investigation process. I already knew why they brought me here, it was something I knew I signed up for the moment I told Tank the truth and… it caused a ache in my heart knowing he hadn't come to see me ever since then. "We're just going to keep this simple and fast, Lira." Elyan started as he folded his arms. "What's your name?" He asked. I had not the guts to ask if that part of the process was totally necessary or not more or less consider the underlying fact that they knew what my name was. "Lira." "Your full name, Lira. It's thoroughly necessary." He clarified. "Okay…" I muttered with a nod. "It's Delira, Delira

LYRA'S POV My heart had literally jumped out of it's place in my chest and into my mouth as I listened to everything Lira had to say. Not all, because I wasn't even sure if we were done yet. I stared at the crescent mark on my left palm, it meant a lot after Lira explained what it meant to me. Unlike the other things she had mentioned, it was the only one that brought a sense of comfort, or belonging, also acknowledgement. And there was still something she mentioned which I found hard to believe. Not about Patrick being my father, that wasn't hard to believe, that was just impossible. I just didn't want to believe that Thorne was a primordial. I had spent years thinking I was the only one left and now to discover that Thorne was one. I wasn't just surprised, I felt disappointed, he never mentioned it to me, there was not even an hint, and he meant to keep it away from me. "Are you also a primordial?" I asked Lira feeling a rush of warmth fall over me. Before t

(THIRD-PERSON POV) — Writer's pov THIRTY MINUTES LATER. "I survived!" Was Tank's returning speech as he returned from Peter's scrutiny and entered Raphael's house. "What are you up to?" He stared at Raphael who was bent over a traditionally clay pot. "Please excuse me, Tank. This needs my undivided attention." Raphael hissed not sparing a single glance at Tank. "Must be very important, then." Tank walked twelve feet's closer and landed beside Raphael. He stared into the point which was sizzling on fire. "What the heck is this, how come you have several different colours of liquid in one pot , Raphael?" "Count Tank, it's just three and I need you to be silent for me or for Thorne, if you may." Raphael pleaded with him. "You know I can't do that when I'm intrigued and awed. It's physically impossible for me." "You should leave my house in that case." Raphael pointed at the door. Tank ignored him and fixed his eyes on the bubbly liquid.
