Besides, if you tell anyone, I'll kill you." He joked, forcing a smile that fell instantly to a grim frown. "No, I can't do that. I don't think I'll ever be able to kill you. You look too much like her. In fact, that's why I'm here: to spend her birthday with you." My lips pressed into a thin line. Who was this 'her', and why did he insist I looked so much like her? "It's pathetic, isn't it? I'm a married man with grown-up children, and I'm still hung up on my first love, like a damn loser. But, damn, I f*cking loved her more than I can love any other woman.
