Lahat ng Kabanata ng FANGS OF VENGEANCE: A WOLF'S REVENGE : Kabanata 11 - Kabanata 20

Ravenna’s POVI tried to scream, but the sound died in my throat. My kicking and biting didn't solve the problem. I remained smothered by calloused fingers in the dark. My heart throbbed and blood roared in my ears. Was it an assassin from Thalia? I wouldn't put it past her after what she did to Astrid.I twisted and sent my elbows backward, aiming to catch a body part. Again, nothing worked. The silent attacker dragged me back until we entered a dimly lit room. "Calm down. It's me."I knew that voice too damn well. Ronan. My body stiffened, caught between rage and surprise. Why didn't I smell his scent? And why the hell did he drag me here? His grip loosened, but his other hand stayed firm on my arm. My back was pinned to his chest, and I felt his cock rubbing against my ass. He leaned in and whispered, "You left me hanging the other time. I don’t like being ignored.”I wrenched my arm free and turned to face him. His piercing blue eyes burned with lust. The intensity of his gaze s

Ravenna’s POVSweat clung to my skin and my muscles ached from all that practice at the combat class. I spent all afternoon dodging blades, parrying spears. I felt the tiredness all in my bones. My breath still came fast as I hurried through the Academy’s corridor. It was time to see Astrid. The healer told me she would be discharged today. I had to be there for her. After a couple of turns, I arrived at the door of the clinic. I pushed through and dragged my tired body forward. The room was dim, lit by flickering candles. The scent of herbs and magic potion hung thick in the air. In the first ward, Astrid sat on the edge of her bed. She looked as pale as ash. Her red hair fell in waves on her shoulders. She looked weak, but I was happy to see her sitting up and active. Healer Varn placed a vial in her hand. Her hands trembled as she collected it. The healer stood by, watching as Astrid swallowed the potion. “Good,” Varn turned to me. “No more traces of silver in her blood. This l

Ravenna's POVThe dorm had felt like a cage now that I was alone in it. Everything felt so lifeless without Astrid. I sat on the bed staring at my untouched dinner. The lamb and herbs looked enticing, but I couldn't bring myself to eat. Not when Astrid was locked up.Her face haunted me. It kept flashing in my mind. My mind replayed the moment Thalia’s guards had dragged her away. Damn it, I should have done more. I was weak when it mattered most and now, Astrid has been paying for it.Guilt stabbed me, almost as deep as Selena’s dagger. If I didn't come back here, Astrid wouldn't be in this trouble. No, I need to do something. I couldn’t just sit still and expect Astrid to get out. The idea of using Ronan to get Astrid out replayed in my head. Yeah, it was a much faster approach than waiting for the dancing competition.I got off my bunk, put on a cloak and slipped into the dark halls. The west wing of the building was silent. I hurried down the corridor and did my best not to attrac

Ravenna's POVThe grand hall was bubbling with spectators when I stepped in. My face drew stares, as always. Luna Selena sat next to the throne. Her sharp eyes met mine and then she looked away almost immediately. She didn't find me interesting enough.Rulers from other packs flanked her. Alpha Lucien was absent though. So was Ronan. My eyes surveyed the section set apart for dignitaries. And then I saw someone I didn't expect to see. Damon. He winked at me and my stomach twisted. I turned away quickly. Not here for him.The dance circle was marked with crimson ropes. The umpire called the first contestants. Myself and three others. We stood in the circle, ready. The girls looked at ease. Their postures screamed confidence."Let the music begin!" The umpire yelled. The music started as a low, pulsing beat. I let it take me. My hips swayed and my arms spread out in the air.I danced like my soul was on fire. The noise from the crowd faded in my ears. I danced like I was in my dorm. Alo

Ravenna's POVI clutched Kael’s letter and stared at the page. Meet me tonight in my chamber, or your secrets are out. My heart pounded as I read the words. I knew this was coming. Kael was always going to get annoyed after seeing me with another man. Especially after I had stayed away from him for so long.I shredded the letter and stepped out of my room in the maid's lodging. I hurried down the corridor. I was almost to the outer door when a voice stopped me.“Vexley, where are you sneaking off to?”It was Luna Selena. I turned around and saw her approaching from behind me.“I just needed air, Luna."Her gaze lingered on me until I felt my skin crawl.“Walk with me.” That wasn’t a request. It was an outright order. My stomach twisted, but I followed. I stepped beside her and matched her slow steps to the moonlit courtyard.“Your dance at the competition,” she said. “It was… a sight to behold. Where did you learn to move like that?”I smiled. “I'm honoured you liked my dance, Luna. D
